I picked up the Novaspark Low Carb Rice Cooker as a gift for my mom, and she really loves it overall. Her biggest requirement was a stainless steel liner, and this cooker delivers on that perfectly. While she admits it doesn't perform quite as well as some of her other cookers with non-stick liners, she’s honestly just happy to have the stainless steel option she was looking for. It’s a solid, reliable choice if you prioritize a healthier, durable liner over high-end performance.

Excellent, easy to use rice cooker. Makes perfect rice and oatmeal every time it’s really impressive. This is the only cooker I could find that was stainless and no coating on the interior pot which was key. It’s very high quality materials. Small footprint on the counter and easy to store away.

Bought this in early Dec 2025 to minimize food coming into contact with non-stick peeling rice cooker pots. So far, used it for low carb white rice, regular white rice and sorghum. Still working out the sorghum water ratio, as I had to drain water at the end. For low carb and regular white rice it has been working well. Based on my limited search of evidence-based research, I am unable to confirm the actual percentage decrease in carbs they are claiming using these types of rice cookers. But from what I have found, there is a definite decrease. What I like: 1. The stainless steel inner pot and stainless steel cover plate are of high quality. I was very impressed with the heft of the inner pot. 2. The rice turns out well, whether on low carb or regular. No sticking to the pot. 3. The power cord is hefty as well and feels safe to me. 4. Parts are easily removable for cleaning. What I do not like: 1. The display is difficult to understand. When I cook low carb for example, the display says 1:10. This leads one to believe that it will take 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete. But it always completes in 45 minutes. I mention this because if you want to use the preset function, it would help to know when it will finish. Unlike the popular Asian rice cooker, you cannot set the time you want the rice to FINISH. With this one, you can only preset by 30 minute increments of when it will START. To know what time it will finish, you need to accurately know how long it will take to cook. 2. The lid has spelling and grammatical errors, if that bothers you. 3. The exhaust rotary was difficult to put back after each cleaning. I finally figured out there is an arrow on it that aligns with an arrow on the lid that was hard to see. What could be better: 1. A retractable cord would be nice. 2. A non-plastic ladle would be nice. I do not use it and instead have one made of bamboo. Overall, this was a good purchase in my opinion. Having used it regularly now, I would make the same choice to buy this rice cooker.

As a mom who loves rice, this Novaspark Low Carb Rice Cooker is a great addition to my kitchen! The stainless-steel pot feels sturdy and high quality, and the rice comes out soft with just the right stickiness every time. It’s easy to clean, offers great value for the money, and I love the low-carb option for healthier meals. The timer and keep-warm features make busy days so much easier. I can even make rice and sausage in one cooker—so easy and delicious!

The quality of the product looked good. But theh instructions were poor. So poor that I had to call customer tech support two times. Each time there was a delay in getting connection. I received the item at 5:00pm. By the time I two different customer support for two different issues, it was 7:30pm. Issue 1: The instruction to remove one of the cover to clean it was cumbersome. Issue 2: After cleaning and when ready to turn it on, it never turned on.

This is a nice rice cooker with a heavy stainless steel bowl, which is why I bought it. I really want to like it, but it burns the rice in the center at the bottom of the pot every single time. I've tried every setting and different kinds of rice - brown rice, white basmati, white jasmine, brown jasmine, using the low-carb setting too - and it's always the same. I know how to cook rice in a rice cooker, and it's not user error. It's not so bad that it completely ruins the pot of rice, but there is a definite patch that you have to avoid and cannot eat. It is disappointing. I think I will have to return it, sadly. The one point of a rice cooker is to cook rice correctly, and I don't want every pot to have a burnt portion. The stainless steel bowl is really nice, though, and the low-carb option is an interesting one. Seems to make nice fluffy rice. I do wish it came in a slightly larger size for families that eat a lot of rice. UPDATE: I do want to say this company has excellent customer service. I was contacted and offered a replacement rice cooker as they seemed to think I may have received a defective one. Their correspondence was quick, polite, and responsive. From my experience I would say they would be good to work with to resolve any problems with the cooker. I am still in the process of trying the new rice cooker to see if I get better results- so far, it does seem to be working better. A little toasty spot on the bottom, but not burned. I do need to try additional pots of rice, varieties of rice, and test further to see if the problem is truly improved, but will update again when I do. As to other opinions on the cooker, it doesn't cook rice as flawlessly as my Zojirushi cooker, but it is much less expensive and the stainless steel bowl is a huge plus. I can't continue to cook in a peeling teflon bowl, as the Zojirushi provides. (Zojirushi doesn't offer a stainless steel bowl, and they charge a fortune for a replacement bowl. )

Our family eats rice almost every day, but we also have a history of high blood sugar and diabetes, so I’ve been wanting to switch to a healthier option. Our old rice cooker’s coating started peeling, so this stainless steel model came just in time — and honestly, even if we didn’t love it, Amazon returns are easy. But after using it three times so far, I’m happy with it. The inner pot is solid and heavy, truly good-quality stainless steel. The rice comes out soft and fluffy without sticking to the bottom at all. I still use a plastic rice paddle out of habit, but my kids sometimes sneak in with a metal spoon to scoop rice. With the stainless steel inner pot, I no longer have to worry or get upset about scratches. 😄 The cooker is easy to use, the LED display is clear, and the keep-warm function works perfectly. Overall, this is a great upgrade for anyone who wants a healthier rice cooker without non-stick coating. Our whole family loves it!

The rice cooker arrived with dents in the top cover. This is really bothering me because it didn't seem used, it was covered tightly in plastic film and there isn't any visible damage to the shipping box. Could be a defect that was missed by QA inspection? I'm torn about whether to return it since it ticks so many boxes for me: stainless steel pots and lid, compact, low-carb feature... It's a shame about the dents.

Very satisfied with the results! It’s worth every penny. The rice is perfectly cooked. The only problem is that the display is not showing the remaining time until the rice is cooked. Just have to wait for the bip.
