My blind, diabetic dog also developed dry-eye later in life. His eyes would crust up constantly throughout the day and these were the only thing that would reduce his eye and skin irritation. They’re immediately effective and calm him down every time. It’s a thicker liquid but never bothers him. These seem expensive but overall great value for the money and they last quite a while.

Like many other reviewers, I spent countless hours wading through literally hundreds of reviews of various pet eye drop products in search of a safe and effective "everyday" OTC treatment that would provide some measure of comfort for my pet's "weeping" eye condition. So before purchasing, I reached out to the fine folks at I-Med Animal Health and provided some basic particulars about my pet's breed and eye-related symptoms to see what, if anything, they would recommend. Much to my amazement came a lightening-fast and exceedingly cordial response which offered both helpful insights and practical direction seemingly tailored to my pet's breed and symptoms! Ultimately, I ordered their Gel-based solution yet unfortunately encountered certain delivery/package integrity issues. So, once again, I contacted I-Med and, as before, they were lightening-quick in expressing their empathy for my experience and subsequently reassured me that they would work to resolve the situation quickly and satisfactorily. They ultimately kept me well-informed as to the resolution they decided to provide and in fact were EXCEEDINGLY more "gracious" than I could have expected or, for that matter, even considered necessary given their prompt and helpful nature. Now, I've purchased an extraordinary number of products on Amazon throughout many, many, many years. From a diverse number of categories. However, never...AND I MEAN NEVER...have I met a company which actually seems to relish the opportunity to resolve customers concerns (both pre-sale and post-sale), as I experienced with I-Med. If you're like me, you simply won't entrust your pet's eye care to just any one. With I-Med, I've found that the company not only genuinely cares about your pet's health and well-being, but is tirelessly committed to customer service...to a rare and exemplary extent which (at least in my experience) few have every approached, much less striven to attain. So, while there are some similarly well-reviewed pet eye care products listed on Amazon, for my money (and especially my pet's well-being) I'll stick with the company I'm 100% confident I can trust and rely upon not just to sell me a product but to be there if and when issues arise. Indeed, that level of integrity, accountability and commitment to customer service are truly rare!

I have been purchasing these gel drops for months, ever since the puppy opthamologist prescribed it to one of my dogs when she had an eye issue. The gel captures particles in the gel itself, lifting them off the puppy eye, so when you lightly wipe after applying the impurity is removed. In addition it helps with the production of tears. Our senior dog has chronic dry eye and these drops do seem to keep him comfortable in combination with his antibiotic ointment. We apply the ointment and after 5-10 minutes one drop of this in each eye. We apply a drop in each eye when he wakes from his naps to try to ensure to keep him comfortable, so we apply drops about every 6 hours or so. The 10ml bottle is small so I have to reorder this about two to three weeks based on our usage. Also when the bottle gets low it gets harder to get the drops out, I literally have to super squeeze the tiny bottle. I wish it came in a larger size bottle, perhaps of a little bit more flexible material to for easier squeezing towards the end. I cannot put a price on knowing my fur baby is more comfortable for having this product, but for the size I do think it is a bit expensive. I am just glad I can afford to give him this comfort right now but always fear that next time I go to order there might not be any available. We order a new bottle each time we open a new bottle.
