Great sockets, good value.
These are good sockets, well worth getting. They’re very easy to work with, take solder well, and seem to be well built.

Tightest jacks I've used- good connection...
Banana plugs go very nicely into these jacks. Tight fit with plugs that wobble on other jacks. I like that they insert fully. Combined with the low profile of the jack itself, it makes for less protrusion in the back of my speakers. The downside is that these are not multi connectors so bare wire will not work at all. That's fine for me. I want good tight banana jacks. I had thought I might solder them but the lug is thick and so I used some female spade connectors. Very nice that way but you may have to open the spade a little bit with a small pry tool to get them started. It's true that the nut has no flats. I hand tightened it by holding the nut and twisting the jack itself. A quick tap with a small flat screwdriver on one of the slots gives a final cinching if needed - I didn't. It doesn't need much. Will buy again. Soldering does not look like a good proposition as others have mentioned. I could see threading a small screw into the hole for another mechanical type connection but the female spade is easy. Better for any future work as well.

High quality
These are really high quality. They hold the banana plug firmly but not too tight that it’s irritating. They’re easy to attach and the exterior-facing plastic covers look good. Only areas to improve: they’re a little long, and the hole at the end to attach wires through is pretty small.

Easy to install and stay in place.
Created a box to keep my O2 consontrator running longer with a LIFEP04 12V battery. Used the banana jacks to connect to a charger. They are used often and are still have a tight fit.

Strange solder tab terminals.
They're very beefy which I like. but the tabs are solder-proof, probably chrome. They seem like they're designed for higher current / heavier gauge wire; but the hole in the tab is only 1.5 mm. Judging from other reviews here, there must be different designs that ship or have shipped. Some say "takes solder well" and "sized for up to #14 wire" ?? Others agree with me. Still there's nothing a file and a drill can't fix if needed. The "nut" for mounting is weird too, but that's obvious in the picture. If you're looking for heavy duty jacks, recommended; but be aware of the extra effort.
