Koonie 8'' 10000mAh Battery Operated Misting Fan with Max. 48 Hrs Runtime

Over the past month, I have tried a multiple different fans, none met up to my expectations. Either they lied about the length of the battery, or the water mister did not work properly, or it broke after 5 days. My friend had a koonie fan that he liked, and had lasted him a full year, so I decided to try it. IT TOTTALY OUTDID MY EXPEXTATIONS!!! First of all the fan is a very very powerful fan for it's size. Much more powerful than the other fans that i got. Second of all the battery on the lowest setting, actually lasted almost 48 hours, unlike the other fans, which the sellers straight out lie, and claim the battery is much more powerful than it actually is. Third of all, the mist is not to strong that you get wet but strong enough that you still get cooled off. The only problem I have with the fan is that, after about a month the mist got weaker. I 100% RECOMMEND THIS FAN.

The Koonie 8" Misting Fan is awesome. I use cold water in the misting fan. The fan is a blessing during really hot weather. The fan battery will not run the fan at the highest setting for 18 holes. Having the power cord available to charge the fan battery from the cart's power socket is necessary if you want to run at full speed throughout the game. My fan ran out of power after about 15 holes. The buttons on the back make it easy to adjust the mist and fan speed.

I have had a few golf cart fans. One magnets to the stanchion and another has a clip that bolts around the stanchion (with a few spacer to customize the fit). Neither of them provided much air beyond a foot. This one has a gigundo clip that fits: across multiple stanchion sizes or the folded down windscreen. It can be charged beforehand, or charged from the cart (slower rpm though). The mister, on intermittent, lasts about 9 holes. I got a mini, collapsible silicone funnel to refill it at the turn. The hardest things are squeezing the clamp and reinserting the rubber plugs for the misting system. By the way, there’s also an attached rubber strap to help secure the fan and there’s a keyhole on the back of the clamp that will allow it to be hung on the wall. I’ve used the fan several times and already three of my friends wanted the link on amazon! This fan pushes air out At least 3 feet. Sometimes the wind diverts the mist spray, but even in a humid climate (like NC) it helps cool you down.

This is the start of my second golf season using this fan. The fan is impressive with a long battery life. However, the holder to which the fan is mounted can’t handle the shaking and bumpiness of a golf course cart path. Mine started cracking at the base where it attaches to the clamp that holds it to the cart frame and eventually snapped in half. Now the fan is useless to me because I have no way of attaching it to the golf cart. Now I’m holding the fan between holes to stay cool.

Don’t expect this fan to last more than a round or two mounted on golf cart. Plastic bracket will snap. Needs better, more flexible bracket. Might be good for some things but not riding golf cart. No response when contacting seller either.

I promise you this is one of the best fans you will ever purchase! I went to work forgot to turn it off, when I got home eight and a half hours later it, was still running! It’s crawfish season in Louisiana, so I’ve been taking it everywhere I go. I clamp it to the armrest of my chair or table, pour water in it for the mist and enjoy the relief. People come up to me asking where did I get it. I immediately share the link. I live around the corner from my job, at a high school. I had to go home one day to get it because the air was out. My coworker asked me where did I get. I shared the link with her and she ordered one for her and her mom. HANDS DOWN, if you order this fan you won’t be disappointed. I purchased mine in June of last year. I LOVE IT!!! I never write reviews but sitting enjoying the little might fan, I decided it deserved it ❤️❤️❤️!

The mister did not work at all. The fan is not very powerful. I purchased it for golf and the clamp would not hold up on one inch support frame of cart.

Good performance but couldn’t take the rough ride on the golf cart. Both fans broke off their brackets. Need stronger brackets to absorb the sways. I repaired the brackets with epoxy and added a thin metal strap onto the inner sides. The fans are now sturdier and super cool!

I had 2 4 inch fans previously and used them on the golf buggy during summer in Saudi (hot)..! They worked well, so I bought these which are 8 inch and a bigger water tank, well worth it if you play golf in hot temperatures.

Stopped working after just a few weeks ! Was good to start with but majorly stopped working fully . If it worked , it would be a good product
