Dazzling Metallics 2-Ounce White Pearl Acrylic Paint (DM-DA117)

I have used metallic paints and paint with glitter. Both require to be shaken before being used. And if used a lot when painting any object, stop and reshape the bottle of paint again. These paints must be paint in layers. Once one layer dries, then paint another layer, let dry and soon. Each layer grows in depth of color. I find three layers work for me. Glitter paint, after first layer, each layer apply with care. Works like metallic paint almost. As you apply the glitter, each layer builds up depth of color, but will become clumpy. Two layers of glitter is easy. Four layers is pretty. Again, these are not like your standard paints. Where one or two strokes is all you need. Metallic and Glitter paint add rich difference, as long as you work with the paint, and be patient.

I love the color as it goes on the canvas and it dries beautifully. This paint mixes very well with other brands of paints. My only request is that the price is a bit high & the small bottles don’t last as long as I’d like which shows how much I use this color & love it.

I just got my shipment, and THANKFULLY these bottles come individually bagged, because out of 4 bottles, 2 of them leaked during shipment. When I took them out of the bag, both caps were barely on there. Do they not check these before bagging and shipping? Other then the shipping mishap, I love these DecoArt metallics!! I use them often in paint pours and the shimmer is awesome!! And at $2 a bottle, you can’t beat the price!!!

I used this paint to make an acrylic ink paint spray to use in my junk journals and this paint worked great. I love the color and the sheen it leaves on my pages is amazing! I highly recommend this great little paint to anyone, even if you are "just" painting with it! LOL!

Something I have noticed in certain reviews is that people complain that the metallic acrylic paints don't provide heavy coverage. This is true. However, the way around this is to use a matching flat color first (kind of like a base coat), then use the metallic one. You'll get both the coverage you want along with that special shine. Either that, or just be ready to apply multiple coats until you get the coverage you want. Personally, I find the sheerness of metallic paints make them a bit more versatile and I don't mind the extra step when extra coverage is needed.

My niece specifically asked for this color (pearl), and she loves it! She uses it on model clay, and the color is exactly like a pearl! And it’s at an amazing price.

This is such a beautiful sheen on my items that needed a pearlized coat. I used it on angel wings and feathers on a swan. Plan to use it on oyster shell a cherub is holding. So versatile for many of my projects.

Colora molto bene la prima passata si asciuga perfettamente ma ho fatto tre passate .dipende dal risultato che vuoi ottenere .es su una cornice gia bianca in legno basta una . Da un bel effetto ..ho fatto bene a comprarne due flaconi. Ottimo prodotto e costa poco

見た目がまんまパールホワイトなので 良かった！と思いましたが、乾くとメタリックシルバーになり 思っていたのと違いました。が、これはこれでかなり使いみちがあったので☆5です。
