Q: Can I use a wall switch to control this strip if I wanted to just leave the built in switch in the on position.

This is not true. I installed these with a wall switch dimmer and they flicker when dimming via the wall switch.

Q: I have leftover light strip that I would like to use else where, how do I purchase another end plug in part? Is it hard to do?

You would need another controller, another power supply, and solderless connectors (to convert the LED ribbon to 2-wire). Search Amazon for "LED Strip Light Controller", "LED Solderless Connect Wire" and "LED Power Adapter" to get the components you need.
