Wow, this is an amazing TV! The picture is so clear and crisp. Setup was super easy, although this TV is extremely heavy and two people to move it is a MUST! I already had a Samsung smart phone and use SmartThings for part of my home automation, so as soon as I scanned the barcode on the screen, it set it up with very little action needed on my part. It automatically signed it into my Samsung account and set it up on Wi-Fi. Adding apps was also easy. My only fustration with Samsung TVs is when it starts auto-playing stuff from the Samsung TV app. The only way to stop this is to the block the app, which is unfortunate, but I am left with no options. Other than that, love it! I especially love the wireless box for connecting my HDMI devices. It's incredible! I love that the only cable needed is the power cord and even then they went to great lengths to minimize and hide that as much as possible. I also love how flat the screen is. They moved some of the hardware, including the power equipment to separate devices, so this allows for the TV to be perfectly flat against the wall like a picture frame, if desired.

This TV is a waste of money. There's something wrong with the processor in it. It's beautiful, colorful and vibrant. And then it goes pale, then it goes back to color the only way you can watch It. And film make a mode, and even then you can see the color change. It's not worth the money I called Samsung. They told me. If we have a technician, come out there. It's gonna cost the same price of the TV. And i'm just thinking, this guy is mad crazy.So I just called amazon, and they're gonna take it back, and i'm gonna buy an l g G5 and this is the TV that made me in my relationship with Samsung.

I don't do many reviews because Amazon removes my less than stellar ones. But I wanted to say the third party seller walts got this out asap and was delivered in two days. Box was beat up, and smelled like it was stored in dumpster juice (that's a UPS issue I'm sure), but the tv was perfect. Wow what a unit. We will see how long it lasts but I will definitely buy from this seller again.

The samsung operating system is unstable and to reboot the firmware i have to unplug everything so samsung can clear it's cache. I have watched and read multiple reviews to help reduce the system memory but still unplugging every 2 days. This is on samsung to fix or release an update that would fix this or replace the OS. Other than that it's great and anyone who comes over to watch the game loves the picture. I haven't told them it needs a jump start every 48hrs. Hopefully it the system doesn't surprise me when im hosting a party. The price i paid might be worth the headache but not entirely certain.

Works great in a room full of windows with a lot of afternoon sunlight reflecting off the water.

Unbelievable picture quality and visual presence in a room. If you are willing to pay for it, this is the high-end TV for you! Don’t let someone inexperienced unbox or assemble. It’s heavy and shouldn’t be tilted or laid on its face. I’d definitely buy this TV again.

This television is twice this price anywhere else and was expecting a refurbished or open box or even a scam but no this set is legitimate. Do you need 8k? Probably not but if you have the money to spend it's worth it. First, there is very limited true 8k material, most of which is documentaries on YouTube but it upscale most 4k just fine. You will notice the changes through scenes though. It doesn't do much for older or lower resolution. The 3 third party seller Walts t.v. seems to be a quality seller and shipped it relatively quick. When I saw they used FedEx though I almost canceled but glad I didn't, not on them but FedEx has always been a problem for me and although they dumped and ran without notice at least I did recieve it. They did leave it out in the open where anyone could have taken it but I was ready. The television is entirely worth the hype with all of the other features and the sound is just as good as the picture. The only drawback to this set is it puts out some real heat from the screen, I've seen this complaint on multiple forums so I assume it's normal operation. I may have to install a small , quiet fan to my set-up. Would I have been satisfied with a 4k set at half the cost , yes but am glad I got this one , just hoping it lasts. This set is replacing a Samsung 4k that's held up great for seven years but it got struck by lightning through the cable line. I would have given 5 stars if it had not been for the heat it produces.

Don’t buy 3rd party. I lost 2000.00$ because Amazon and Walts delivered 2 damaged in shipping expensive 8k tvs. Amazon replaced the first one. Not the second. They said call Walts. Walts said nothing they could do. My only recourse : get refund of SALE price. Now I can’t afford the same great Samsung 8k because the price went up. And nobody cares. Be buying from local stores from now on. Both tvs were DAMAGED IN SHIPPING. And the customer loses out.
