Once the 1 gallon jug is opened and a portion used does the remainder require refrigeration?

I don't and never did with the smaller bottles either. As I empty a couple of bottles I just refill them from the gallon jug. But I don't see why you couldn't refrigerate.

The link provided is for a single 1-gallon jug, which is a 3.79 Liter. I have seen it offered in a 3-pack in the past, but not for under $25. The one gallon goes a long way if you use it to refill your empty bottles and is a great value. Hope this helps.

What is the best by date on this product and is it the thick sauce?

It is not the thick version of Lea & Perrins; it is the traditional version (delicious!). The "best by" date will vary, based on when you order, but face it, this stuff never goes bad! (I bought 20 of the massive bottles, have used two, and certainly have enough for the next 18 monts, without worry!)

Just to make sure this is the PROPER English version, not that rubbish american one that uses corn syrup? Please list ingredients as I check labels!
