22MP Film & Slide Scanner with 5" LCD, Converts 35mm 126 110

I purchased this scanner because I inherited several boxes of old negatives and slides from my parents and grandparents. Most of these photos had not been viewed in decades because we no longer owned a projector or film viewer. After using this scanner for a few weeks, I can honestly say it has been one of the most enjoyable projects I've done in a long time. Setup was very simple. Inside the box, everything needed to get started was included, including the scanner, power adapter, USB cable, HDMI cable, film holders, cleaning brush, and instructions. I inserted a 32GB SD card, connected the power cable, and the scanner started up immediately. The menu system is straightforward and easy to understand, even if you've never used a film scanner before. The scanner supports several film formats, which was one of the reasons I chose it. My collection included 35mm negatives, 35mm slides, and some old 110 film strips. Switching between formats only requires changing the film holder and selecting the correct film type from the menu. The included holders keep the film aligned properly and slide smoothly through the scanner. The 5-inch LCD screen is much larger than I expected and makes a huge difference during scanning. As soon as the film is inserted, the image appears on the display. It is exciting to see photos from 30 or 40 years ago suddenly come back to life. Before saving each image, I could easily adjust brightness and color settings directly on the scanner. The scanning process itself is very fast. Once the image is centered on the screen, pressing the scan button captures the photo in just a couple of seconds. I was able to scan hundreds of family photos over a weekend without feeling frustrated or overwhelmed. The workflow becomes very efficient after scanning the first few strips of film. As for image quality, I was pleasantly surprised. The scans are sharp, detailed, and colorful considering the age of the original negatives. I compared several scans with professionally developed prints from years ago, and the digital versions looked very good. They are more than suitable for sharing with family members, uploading to cloud storage, creating photo books, or viewing on a television. Transferring files to my computer was easy. I simply connected the scanner using the USB cable and copied the images from the SD card. I also tested the HDMI output and displayed old family photos on a large TV during a family gathering. Everyone enjoyed seeing the pictures together, and several relatives requested copies of photos they had not seen in decades. One thing I would recommend is taking a little time to clean older negatives before scanning. Dust and fingerprints on the original film can appear in the final image. The included cleaning brush helps with this process and improves results significantly. Overall, this scanner exceeded my expectations. It is easy to operate, works with multiple film formats, scans quickly, and produces quality digital images. If you have boxes of old negatives or slides sitting in storage and want an easy way to preserve those memories for future generations, this scanner is absolutely worth considering.

Worked great. We had a mix of 110, 126, and 35 mm. And even a couple of slides. Easy to use and capture. Much better than the MemoryVault that only does 35 mm at a low resolution. Being able to slide the negatives through the unit is so much faster than having to put each segment in a carrier. We are extremely pleased with this purchase. My wife scanned all of our negatives (several thousand) in a few days. The larger screen is better to see the images too. Some of our old negatives were blue or green. The color on the negatives was very good. Maybe age or they were processed incorrectly but we should have done this years ago. Excellent value. A little more than some of the cheap ones but it was worth it, very please.

Very nice scanner but viewing screen needs to be more upright. I have to tip the scanner upright to see picture. Also film feed needs redesign. Slides ride up on one ahead of it. Film straps difficult to start into feed.

This is a really nice film scanner. You have to buy an SD card for it to work. The product descriptions weren't real clear about this but you must have The SD card... It's a very very easy to slide the negatives in and press a button and the slide is scanned and the image is created on the SD card. Looks great on a digital frame.

The item works and is fast, but the fit in the sled is not tight, so misalignment and slippage can happen easily. I returned the item because the resolution isn't what I expected. If slides were enlarged to 4"x 6" the resolution would be about 75 DPI.

I got this scanner to go through a box of old family negatives and slides, and it’s been a really solid experience so far. You really just load the film, press the scan button, and it’s done in seconds. The built-in screen is also surprisingly helpful—it’s large enough to preview images clearly, and I was able to make small adjustments to brightness and color before saving. Overall, this is a practical and user-friendly scanner—great for anyone looking to convert old films and slides into digital format without a steep learning curve.

Operation is simple - simpler than the instructions initially read. You may need to play with it. Slides are copied as jpeg files - and when you have the slide selected allow a few seconds for the color and clarity to load before clicking the button to copy it. You can see it happening. The product works well.

Thevopticsxare good. The controls are not intuitive. The instructions are nearly useless. The video shown here doesn't address how to up lload to a computor. No instructions on how to get computors to recognize the scanner. If customer service doesnt help i'm returnng it. Too many devices end up in the garbage because of bad instructions.

Have not used it yet. Some time I will. It is what I was looking for.

For viewing slides only It does not transfer the image to a card or stick or computer file.

Es muy práctico, es más grande de lo que parece y eso es muyy bueno porque se ven muy bien las diapositivas
