Spot on footage and all round coverage
I never thought a gadget the size of a beer mat could make long drives feel so stress-free, yet here we are. The three-inch IPS display tucks in tidily behind the rear-view mirror, and the four 1080p lenses really do serve up a full 360-degree picture. The front and back lenses sweep 170 degrees, while the side units cover 150, so even the chap who insists on barging across two lanes at a roundabout will find himself immortalised on video. After dark the footage looks almost cinematic, largely thanks to the f/1.8 aperture, the WDR wizardry and a ring of eight discreet infrared lamps that switch on without any fuss. I have not had to buy extra storage either, because the maker has sensibly bundled a 128 GB card, so loop recording is up and running the moment you slot it in. The supercapacitor is another thoughtful touch, shrugging off the sort of heat that usually makes lithium-ion batteries puff up like pastries. The 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection is surprisingly nippy, too; by the time I have filled the kettle, the latest clip has already landed on my phone. Add in parking mode and a keen-eyed G-sensor, and the car feels watched over even when it is sitting outside the house.Solid construction, pin-sharp footage and proper all-round coverage—there is very little to criticise here. For the money, it is an easy five-star buy.

With comprehensive functions and stunning image quality, it is a must-have in the car.
1. Video Quality: The 2.5Kresolution truly lives up to its name. The daytime footage features vivid colors and rich details, allowing for easy identification of license plates even when zoomed in. The night vision function, thanks to a large aperture and excellent image processing, can still capture crucial information at intersections and on highways with insufficient lighting.2. Installation and Usage: The adhesive mount is very secure and the wiring is convenient. The connection to the mobile app is smooth, enabling direct viewing, downloading, and sharing of videos on the phone, which is extremely convenient. There's no longer the hassle of removing the memory card and using a computer.3. Parking Monitoring: This is the feature I value the most. It has a parking monitoring mode with low-voltage protection, allowing it to keep working even when the engine is off. Once, my car door was bumped by a neighboring vehicle in a parking lot. The dashcam immediately triggered emergency recording and locked the video, helping me avoid a dispute.4. Stability: So far, there have been no issues of freezing or restarting, and it has withstood the test of high-temperature weather. In conclusion, this is an outstanding product with balanced performance and no weak points. It is definitely worth the price.

Good coverage camera
simple installation because everything comes in the box, including a 128 GB memory card and a snap-on bracket. Setting it up took me around twenty minutes. It has a strong build, many helpful features, and offers excellent peace of mind for a low price..The camera also works very well at night. It has eight infrared lights that make the inside of the car look bright on screen, so night-time footage is clear and easy to see. Video clips can be transferred quickly to a phone. it can record almost everything happening around the car. It Does not block the drivers view. It can be fixed behind the rear view mirror. Small and compact.

Brilliant coverage and clear footage
I was a bit sceptical about adding yet another gadget to the windscreen, but the IIWEY N5 has genuinely impressed me. It hides neatly behind the rear view mirror, so I no longer have to peer round a bulky box each time I edge out of a junction. With four full-HD lenses, 170 degrees at the front and 150 on both sides, it really does cover every angle. The chap who brushed my bumper in the supermarket car park found that out the hard way, the footage showed his number plate from two different viewpoints.Night recordings are just as clear. Eight infrared lamps turn the cabin into broad daylight on screen, handy when the children have nodded off and I need to keep an eye on the road rather than the camera. Transferring clips could not be simpler, open the app, the 5 GHz Wi-Fi connects, and the file lands on my phone before the tea has brewed.Everything needed is in the box, a 128 GB card and a snap-on bracket, so the whole installation took me barely twenty minutes. Solid build, loads of features, and a huge dose of peace of mind for very little money.

Don't use a fast charger and think it doesnt work
Feels a little cheap but is functional and easy to install. Tucking the wires away is made simpler with the handy tool that was supplied. If you're trying this straight out of the box with a phone charger, not everyone will work. It won't work with your fast charger. For example, it didn't work with my Samsung Galaxy or iPad USBc to USBc fast chargers, but worked with an older USB to USBc standard charger. The main thing is it works from the car lighter socket just fine. It doesnt appear to have a battery and so doesnt hold charge.

Questionable purchase 1 year on
Update August 2026So as of August I’ve noticed the dashcam doesn’t seem to always record. At random times I’ll check footage and it shows me recordings from my last drive rather than the one I’ve just completed. This defeats the whole purpose of a dashcam. Intially I gave it a 4 star but then downgraded to 3 earlier this year after properly using it and now I’m giving it a 1 star. The thing isn’t worth the money, the memory was at 2gb but it doesn’t seem to be overriding old footage to record new one all the time. The random gaps in recordings could be crucial should I ever need it. I’m hoping it’s just the memory card. I’ve tried dealing with the customer service and more time it’s a chatbot. I’ll get a new memory card and update this review if it resolves the issue.Original review from late 2025 / early 2026Overall I would say it’s a good purchase. Build quality is good and the video footage is good. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the accompanying app is a generic one used by many dashcams. With all the cameras it clumps all the videos into one album rather than separate. Eg front , back etc. so takes a while to find specific videos. If you want to view the videos you’re better plugging the memory card into your laptop. Also lack of gps and accelerometer, would be a nice feature for a future upgrade. Would defo help with insurance claims. Regardless viewing angles are good and it’s okay to set up. I hired a fitter as I wasn’t confident hiding the wires. For the price it’s a good purchase. Defo recommend1 year on…So I’ve had this camera one year now. Most of what I wrote in my initial review still holds. Haven’t had any issues with it so far. But after using it for a year I would have to change my review to a 3. This is for 3 reasons their customer service isn’t the best it’s just some random ai chat bot. This is a personal pet peeve of mine, i don’t like companies that force you to use a chat bot and when you instruct it to transfer you to a human it tries to force you to chat to it first before eventually transferring you.Secondly the dashcam constantly resets the date, it asks you to format the memory card periodically but for some reason that results in a date reset. So I have to connect to it via WiFi to get the current date. In the event of a claim the date/time could be crucial. It’s very easy to forget to format the date. But besides that overall it’s a decent purchase.Thirdly I wish it had a feature to be able to lock videos in the moment besides crashes. As I’ve been driving I’ve witnessed several crashes so it takes time to sort through all the videos to find what I’m looking for.My earlier wish for it to have gps and telematics hadn’t changed. These are features I’ll be looking for on my next dash cam. As a starter cam Im okay with the purchase

A must have dash cam
Wanted to get a dash cam for a longtime and after looking at few of the dash cam I chose IIWEY N5 4 Channel Dash Cam due it having multiple angles it can cover.Starting with the build quality, really well made with sturdy plastic. The display screen quality is great as well, able to see the live feed of the cameras easily. Also the font of the screen are clear as well when navigating the menu. The video quality the dash cam is very good (as you can see in the video which was recorded at night), it also recorded the sound/audio so it an amazing footage that can be useful during insurance claim or accident.Usually accessing the dash cam footage can be long and difficult process but this dash cam makes it easier with their app “IIWEY”. The app also allows changing setting of the cameras from it, also you can modify on the footage chunking size as well. You can also update the firmware of the cam from the app too. And the main bit accessing the footage, you can view/download/delete of all the cameras from the app.Installing the dash cam was simple, there was a video instruction that I watched before installing and followed the steps. It was simple with provided materials from the cable clip to the sticky patch. The power to the dash cam is connected via the cigarette charger. As my charger port is smart so when the car is off it cut off the power to the dash cam so I don’t have to worry about draining the battery nor have to worry about unplugging it.Overall this is an amazing dash cam to have with 4 camera 3 in front and one for rear.

Way Better Than I Expected (And I'm Picky)"
I’ll be honest—I wasn’t expecting much for this price, but this dash cam surprised me. The footage is crisp enough that I can actually review footage clearly. The Installation took me maybe 5 minutes; I just plugged it in and stuck it on the windshield. The size is small but not too small, so know impact on viewing and appearance is discreet. The rotating side cameras are low-key genius—they catch blind spots that my mirrors miss. The app actually works (unlike some other brands I've tried), so downloading clips takes seconds instead of fighting with a computer. And they throw in the memory card, so you don't have to drop another $15 right away. Mostly, I just don't stress about 'he said, she said' accidents anymore. For the money, it's a total no-brainer."
