Review: Great gift for any pre-med or medical student! - I am a current medical student, and loved how adorable this kidney looked! The addition of the splenic vein and arteries was a good touch. :) It is very soft on the outside. For some reason I was imaging the plush to be bigger, but the dimension are listed in the description, so that is my fault for not reading. However, I still like the plush a lot! Some might even say the smaller size is more anatomically correct! There is a curve to the kidney, so at certain angles the eye may look "silly" in pictures.

I am a current medical student, and loved how adorable this kidney looked! The addition of the splenic vein and arteries was a good touch. :) It is very soft on the outside. For some reason I was imaging the plush to be bigger, but the dimension are listed in the description, so that is my fault for not reading. However, I still like the plush a lot! My boyfriend donated his kidney to his mom this year, and I bought each of them this kidney pillow as a gift after their surgeries. Everyone got a kick out of it including the doctors and nurses. It was soft and good for cuddling while my boyfriend was healing. Both he and mom are doing great!
