Easy integration with smart home
I really like the quality. It allows me to get notifications through my Smart home system whenever air quality gets low. Easy to read text on the device itself. App is very nice as well. Good battery life.

Nice Screen, Good App Integration, Strange Initial Readings
The screen on this air quality meter is fantastic. It is not a pre-made "segmented" screen, it is a full display. The design for the cord is nice, because it allows the unit to be flat (against the wall, or the bottom on a counter). There is an included wall mounting bracket, and a hole drill template. Unfortunately, the "kickstand" kept falling out whenever the unit was moved. I couldn't figure out how to keep it retained in the unit. The ability to synchronize and report its data through an app is great, and you are given two options to choose from. This review isn't about the app, but the one I chose works well. I didn't have any trouble getting it linked to the meter. These meters can be quite expensive, so I think this one is reasonably priced for what you get.I did not have any issues with the meter running without it plugged in. The battery worked fine.It is true that there is not a screen brightness adjustment on the unit. The unit has a photocell and can automatically adjust the screen brightness based on ambient conditions. Through the app that I selected (Smart Life), there are settings to automatically adjust the screen brightness, set a specific brightness, and/or automatically turn off the display after a specified time. The Formaldehyde (HCHO) and Total Volatile Organic Carbon (TVOC) reading both consistently stayed in the "Unhealthy" range after I first started the unit. The instructions directed me to power cycle the unit. I would like to note that turning off the unit while it is connected to a power source only places the unit in standby mode, and does not turn it off. It has to be disconnected from a power source to turn off. I let the unit operate for a day and then performed the power cycle. The readings are now what I would consider to be normal. I'm hoping the unit was off-gassing something from the manufacturing process, and now it is reading correctly. This meter has a calibration function, but it is only for the Carbon Monoxide (CO) sensor.Overall, I think this is a good option for a home air quality meter.

Wake me up
The wifi function play a really important role of this air monitor which pop up the notification on my phone and let me know it’s the time to open my air purifier or my windows. I had bad experience during my home office in the afternoon and I can’t focus on my job. This monitor point me out the issue that the co2 level is too high to work. Now, I open my window and becomes much focus on my job in the afternoon.

We love it
It’s really cool! We put it in the bedroom to monitor the air quality at night

Only measures 7 - AQI, TVOC, HCHO, PM, CO2, temp & humidity
The unit seems to work fine. Kind of hard to test if it is measuring correctly. The values do fluctuate is the door is open and a breeze comes in, or someone smokes. My biggest complaint is the description. It says 18 in 1, but it only tests for 5 things, the rest are settings. And no where, in the listing, in the booklet that comes with it, do they explain what all the abbreviations are! So, AQI is an aggregate of total air quality (air quality index). A total number based on several measures, of which we don't know. CO2 (carbon dioxide) is what we breath out. You leave in an open window for 24 hours to set the baseline. PM (particular material) measures how much free floating particles of anything are floating around. They count this as 3 things, but it's really, 3 sizes of particles they measure 1.0, 2.5, and 10. There are guidelines you can look up as to what is "acceptable" but this helps to track if you have allergies: pollen or dust floating around and how big. TVOC (total volatile organic compounds) chemicals that become a gas at room temperature. You've heard about them related to paint or new carpet. This measures the total amount, not which ones. The unit does measure one specifically - HVOC or formaldehyde, which can come from smoking, smog, fires, and other household products. However, I found while googling, it breaks down quickly with exposure to sunlight and oxygen. The other measurements are temperature, & relative humidity (RH). the rest of the 18 in 1 and settings, date, time, brightness, history report, standby mode, wifi connections, and that the unit is "skin friendly" I guess so you could rub it on your skin if you wanted, and that it can hang on a wall. So, not 18 things to measure about your air quality, but some, probably the most important. I would have liked more specifics rather than composite totals, but for the price and size, I don't think I could ask for that much. For a temperature, humidity and a few of the important air pollutants, it is a good unit. It does connect by app, so you can get a history of measurements. It's rechargeable. Small and clean looking. I'm just irritated on the misleading description.

Jumpy numbers
It’s hard to know whether this is a reliable device because it jumps around so much despite nothing changing in the room. Also the wireless setup never worked.
