Only just started using it so can't comment on durability or longevity, but it's already made a big difference. I did a lot of research, looked a review sites, compared price points and features, and this seems to be the best bang for buck on the market. Managed to get it with a discount for only around £160 - which is hard to beat. The Amazon price was cheaper than going direct strangely.Our windows are atypical, so the fact they give you two ways to connect the hose is great.The controls are pretty basic, but at the end of the day it just needs to do one job in the summer, and that's cool down our top floor flat. This does it brilliantly.It's also not obnoxiously loud which is a bonus. You can have a normal conversation with it running at full blast in the background.

Set up was easy good value for money not too big and bulky. Cools well the room very heavy. I would say qood quality for the money

Not as good as I hoped as the device is quite loud, especially in non-carpeted areas and has no noise control in beyond high and higher. It is way to heavy to move upstairs on a regular basis. Also it has no removalable water tank so draining is difficult without rasing the unit several inches. It does cool air but not impressed overall

It's been a long time since I used a portable air conditioner and I remember it being heavy - I had kind of expected them to be lighter these days, but this one definitely isn't - which is maybe a good sign, right? It's on wheels so weight doesn't really matter too much.I have enjoyed testing this unit - it couldn't have arrived at a more fortuitous time! Definitely given me a much nicer working environment as my office gets quite warm otherwise as it's south facing.Pros:✅ It's quite a nice size - not too big with a "slim" design that I find much more attractive than the shorter squat designs I've seen before.✅As a cooler, it's great and not too loud. It's louder than most built-in air conditioners - presumably due to a much smaller fan which has to work harder, but not as loud as a high speed cooling fan. I could certainly sleep with it on.✅Has a dehumidifier mode for use in winter.✅Comes with a window kit for either sliding or hinged windows - the sliding one is really easy to set up.✅ Includes remote controlCons🚫 Not as good at dehumidifying as a dedicated unit.🚫 Hinged window kit is functional, but messy - hard to see an alternative solution though!Summary: It's very good value, performing generally better than I'd expected at this price.
