SEIKO Melodies in Motion Wall Clock, Starry Night

There really isn't a whole lot to say. If you already know about Seiko clocks, you can plainly see what this one looks like. However, the pictures on Amazon do not really do it justice. This clock is gorgeous. On the hour (or when you press the demo button) the clock face breaks into 4 parts and they all spin 360 degrees, with a couple of pauses, and then they all come back together in about a minute.When the face comes apart, there are larger spinning gears behind, and they are inlaid with colored glass that are very beautiful. The gears spin, and the fireworks and stars around the edges light up. The ferris wheel at the center at the bottom also spins constantly, not just on the hour. It's just enough movement you make you admire the conservative care and beauty that went into making this clock.The only real con is that it only comes with six melodies. For $400, yo would think they could add at least another six. But that really is a minor gripe, the clock would be worth it if there were no melodies. Charming chime, keeps great time

This is my Second Animated theme Seiko Wall Clock. Love the quality clock & animated movement. This one having a larger speaker than my first clock thereby the musical audio is fuller. My first clock 17 years ago still works which I got at a warehouse club store where you see the less expensive models every Christmas.This one is a lot more expensive because of the particular model & features. Well worth it. Makes a great Gift for Birthdays, Weddings, & Retirement.Amazon 2 day shipping was fantastic for people that just can’t wait & play with this new edition for your home.

I love this clock! It plays a melody, lights up, and the clock face comes apart like a puzzle! It’s beautiful and well worth the money! It’s also a nice conversation piece.

Very beautiful clock with clear music. Only 6 melodies compared to our last with about 24 melodies, so I took a star off for that. Very happy with our purchase

This clock is a majestic addition to my home. Everyone is mesmerized at the top of the hour, when the clock face parts into 4 pieces and spins in time to the music, revealing wheels that move. Adults and children flock to the clock when they hear the opening song before one of six main songs, and stay till the end of the closing song (the same opening tune and the same closing tune occur every hour as the clock face opens and closes, but once open, the six main songs take turns at each hour). It is a beautiful timepiece, of classic Seiko quality - and so much fun! I want to save up for a bigger, more elaborate one with more songs...

The media could not be loaded. Had to replace a 20 year old Seiko chime clock because it stopped working. Received this clock and it's really cool. Sorry the dogs are eating under it so you hear them crunching. Clock has volume level adjustment as well as 6 different tunes it rotates through.

I've got four of these Seiko wall clocks now. This is the best one so far I just love it. My crazy clocks collection grows.
