I bought the 5–6 Player Extension for CATAN so our whole group could finally play together, and it absolutely delivered. If you already enjoy the base game, this is pretty much a must-have once your group grows beyond four players. The extension integrates seamlessly with the original game—same look, same feel, and no complicated changes to learn. The additional tiles, roads, settlements, and cards are well-made and match the base set perfectly. Setup takes a little longer just because of the larger board, but it also makes the game feel more dynamic and open. One thing to be aware of is that adding more players does increase the game length. Our sessions tend to run quite a bit longer, especially with players who like to negotiate a lot. That said, the added interaction and trading opportunities with the additional players makes it worth it. The only downside is that you must already own the base CATAN game—this is strictly an expansion, not a standalone product, so buying this alone won't do you any good. Overall, this extension is fantastic and well worth the purchase.

Fun game. Get ready to get addicted. I recommend having a person who has played the game explain it to you the first time because it’s a little complicated at first and keep the instructions handy but after one game you’ll get the hang of it. It’s such a great game. We even bought the extender so more people can play.

Perfect addition to original game. Instructions were clear for expanding the gameplay.

We say this extra pack is a must add on in our house. We only have four players, but we enjoy playing with the bigger board. We keep all of the extra pieces from this box in our original Catan box.

This is a great addition to any Catan enthusiast's collection. The quality is exactly like the base game, and playing with more players adds a new level of strategy and difficulty. A really good game board

本体ではなく、拡張版でした。 英語だったのでよく読まずに買って失敗です。これだけでも遊べるのかどうかは謎です。サイコロはなし。 当然ですが、拡張分の追加2人分しか入っていません。まず、本体を買わないとダメですね💦

This was the 6th edition. The cards are not the same as my 5th edition. Apart from that it's great and goes well with my 6th edition of city and knights.

Excellent game! The original, base game of Catan is awesome and so addictive that I ended up buying this extension too (please note that this product is indeed an extension only.. pointless without the base game). In the age of smartphones, PC games and PlayStation etc. this is a rare item indeed! Entertainment for the entire family! Only one small drawback is that in this newer version of Catan (both base game and extension), the frames and colors for the resources are a little dull. They could easily have been a little brighter and of a more visually appealing color. But rest assured knowing that this is a tiny price to pay for the level of fun this game guarantees!

Very good to play if you have 4 people playing as well, I find the base verison is a little too small for 4 people, but this big one adds a good amount to the game.

It could work but I think it is not original. Card material quality and font seem to be bad
