I had gotten Bright Crystal in a previous Scentbird subscription and had heard that Dossier had perfumes inspired by a lot of designer brands. I am a massive sensory seeker when it comes to scent so I wanted to see if I could find, first, a scent inspired by Versace's Crystal Noir, which I had also gotten from Scentbird. I couldn't find a Crystal-Noir-alike, but I DID find this one and was hesitant to try it at the risk of wasting money. Sure, it was half-ish of Bright Crystal's price, but still — even at half price, it was still a lot for me as a chronically ill person experiencing burnout and having very limited finances. In the end, it was the burnout that made me spring for it — I needed SOMETHING nice, some little perk-me-up to make my days a little brighter — and I'm so glad I did. This scent is perfect, clean, not overwhelming even if I spray a little too much because it dries down so nicely, and lasts all day. I have a sweater I wear around the house because we keep it cold and I've sprayed it a few times to wear around the house, taken it off before bed and the scent will still be there the next day (and for days after). One of my kids has been taking that sweater to school the last few days during statewide testing because, "it smells like you."
