Ultimate Storm Derrick Storm Omnibus

The book came on time and in great condition. However, it seems a little like these books were thrown together quickly to meet a demand for the TV show's fans. As a fan, I know that Castle struggles with spelling and grammar (how weird is that?!) but I also know that he has the brilliant Alexis read all of his books before sending them to the publisher. Both Alexis and the publisher should have caught the grammar and PLOT errors in this book! There are places where the story just veers off into all kinds of wrong. For example, during a conversation between Storm and 2 other characters, one of the other characters walks away, but just a couple of lines down he is now involved in the conversation again even though it never tells you the character returned. And Storm ditches a car, steals a new one, and then later you are told he is back in the first car. Not possible. Probably the worst of all is when you are introduced to a new character, Goodman, whose name appears twice before it is forever changed to Gordon. It's the little things, and as someone who LIVES to read and enjoys proper grammar, these little put a small cloud over a very interesting book.All that said, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the show. Most people won't be turned off by the things that I was (you're instead of your) so the book will be very enjoyable!

These stories would be good for any aspiring writer to read, firstly to be inspired by how crappy the language is, and secondly, to take not of the way the story keeps you engaged even when the language makes you want to gouge out your eyes. It’s obvious that these either were, or were meant to look like a first draft. As a fan of the show, I can only assume that Richard Castle would have been seriously offended by each and every one of the numerous grammatical errors, and by the fact that on one occasion Agent Showers, one of the two main characters, was called Flowers. Still, I’m looking forward to checking out the other books in the series and hoping that they don’t have as many errors as these ones.

The book arrived in very good condition. If you are a Derrick Storm fan, the main character, you will enjoy each of the books in the series and this one was not disappointing. They are very well written, you will have to read it to get your opinion, but I am sure you will enjoy this book if you like this venue of stories. I have to say I purchased my first book on clearance in a store, sorry amazon, and was hooked and had to find more of the series. As I said before if you like this type of story you will not be disappointed. Happy Amazoning

This is a compilation of 3 stories that were originally available only digitally. It was supposed to be published in the U.S. but was canceled. This edition is British.I enjoy the Derek Storm character. While I've read all the Nikki Heat books, Storm is probably more "fun" and a faster read. This particular book has some good twists and forms a coherent tales, even though originally divided into three parts.

This item was purchased as a gift so I can't comment on the quality of the writing or the story. It is, however, a nice compilation to allow a Castle (TV show) fan who enjoys the Nikki Heat series to get a taste of fictional forerunner.

I bought this and a group of other Richard Castle books for someone, for Christmas. I don't think they read them all yet, but I do know this person is a huge Castle fan, ( of both the show & books). When she received them, she went crazy. I know she loves to read and she wanted to read a Derek Storm book after reading a number of Nikki Heat books. If your a Castle fan I think you'll love these stories. As always the items came shipped very well.

The premise of this series of "Storm" novels is unique, as well as the "Heat" series by same author. The author is a fictional character in the ABC television show "Castle". So the books are ghost written, but have a consistency that belies multiple authors. Both series are really good, and I highly recommend any of the books. It might be best to read them in order.

Good book I always enjoy castle books. It sounded familiar though so I am not sure if I have read it before. I enjoyed the puns used in some of the characters names.

I just received this book yesterday. Although I haven't read it yet, it looks GREAT! I can't wait to get started on it. Love all of the Richard Castle books. Hope they keep on writing them!

Whilst I found the story enjoyable I was expecting three separate stories not three episodes of one story. That was disappointing.

It was a great book. Glad to see if finally in book form. Been waiting for awhie. 👍
