do you need to put holes on the bottom for drainage if I want to plant flower and vegetables in it

Hi Mary - I drilled about 10-12 holes in the bottom of these for that exact reason. The holes are about 1/4" in diameter and they drain just fine. We filled the bottom of the containers with old plant containers first (turned upside down) and then some bark chips and then potting soil. Using the plant containers and bark chips was cheaper than filling them all the way up with potting soil.

Will drilling holes in the bottom speed up rusting or corrosion?

Yes. You can/should touch up with “galvanizing paint”

Is the label for the company on both sides or just one side? Can the label be removed?

Just on one side but you will also have shipping labels all over it. It can be peeled off but leaves a ton of residue. The residue comes off with goo remover or gas.
