Don’t let the deep purple color scare you because it rinses out completely! Helps me out between highlights.

I have naturally blond hair & I was often on the lookout for something that could brighten my blonde because it tends to get a little brassy or dark if I don't change my water filters often enough. I travel for work & most hotels don't have filters so my hair picks up anything in the water. I tried this shampoo & the conditioner & my experience is:The shampoo dried my hair badly & the shampoo softened it but not as well as other shampoo & conditioners that didn't dry it to beging with. Another problem is the shampoo alone dyes my hair every time I've used it. My bangs are especially blond & they really soak up the color. Whether I use the conditioner, the color remains. I've tried to cocktail this product with others such as a clarifying shampoo & purple conditioner, vice versa, co wash only, blond shampoo & another conditioner brand, all to find some level of lavender remained after the wash/condition/rinse process. I've tried wash/rinse quickly & wash, leave it on per the directions then rinse & still lavender. There is no getting around the color deposit & for me, that was never the goal. The goal was to cleanse & tone, not to color. I don't think I love purple shampoos. I've tried blue & that was a worsed disaster that left me with grey highlights instead of this that leaves me with lavender. I've come across portable filters that can easily go on hotel shower heads so that will be my new go to & this product & others like it literally deposit color & I'm not a fan. 1 star off for purple hair.

I’ve been buying this since I bleached my hair. And when I run out if I don’t feel like paying the price for this I’ll try a different brand each time this happens to compare until I break down and buy another bottle of this because it’s the best as far as toning down the yellow and brassiness without drying it out a whole lot. I use this with the potion mask and it helps with a longer amount of time in between bleaching my roots as well. I recommend it if you’re naturally a very dark brunette like myself who’s went platinum because of the extensive damage it does to your hair this is the best for toning and damage control.

My daughter has a brown light hair. We are happy buying this brand, even though it’s a little expensive. We like the results.
