A: The difference between the Matte Paste and the Clay Pomade are the hold. Both have great texture properties but the Matte Paste has a stronger hold.

Very easy to apply and little to no pulling on application, washes out easily and does indeed have a matte finish. I have very fine hair and I found it drying after using it for a few consecutive days, I could have used a conditioning pre styler perhaps but I gave it away to a friend instead as I get much better results using Shear Revival Northern Lights.
