Fragrance free ?

I checked the box and did not find the product to be listed as fragrance free. However, this is a fabulous moisturizer that I have been using for about 4 years now, but if your need it to be fragrance free I am going to say it is not. Hope this helps.

can you apply make up after you put this on in the AM

Yes, I use it daily after I wash my face as a moisturizer. I then follow it with my primer and then foundation.

Is this the best moisturizer for plus 65 yo skin?

Probably not. It's very basic. I bought it to replace the Vivate/MD Forte hydrating cream that has been discontinued. I started Retin-A and needed something calming, soothing and simple.  It is not a good replacement, as it burns "angry" skin. I like it fine for general use, but there are better choices. I find jojoba oil with a few drops of frankincense, lavender and rose to be the best nightime regime for me.

Can i apply this after retinol cream at night? in the am do i apply it after skinmedica ha5 & before skinmedica total defense spf?

After a retinol at night, I would think so. I first used it after laser resurfacing on my face...it's that gentle and non-irritating. It contains no oils (it even has a translucent look to it), retinols, acids, or sunscreens. It is just a gel-cream that is very hydrating and very gentle, and one of the few I've found that does not cause me to break out or develop blackheads. It has gone through several brand names, as companies have been purchased others; it started out as an MD Forte product. It doesn't appear that anyone has messed with the formula, though. I love it and use it almost exclusively at night (I prefer a lighter moisturizer under make-up in the morning). A very little goes a long way, so it will last you a while.
