what is surfactant? Is it included with tenacity?

This is crop oil can get at coop or just use Dawn dish soap it does the same thing. It basically takes the oil off of the plant so the Chemical will stick better. Also add trimec to the mix too these 2 Chemicals will kill all kinds of weeds. For a 25 gallon sprayer = Tenacity 5-7 oz and trimec 80 oz

Actually the 90 degree comment provided is incorrect. Per NCState Agricultural Sciences Department and my local USDA Extension; don't apply when the temperature when you are applying it is above 90. If you apply early in the morning well before it reaches 90 there is no problem. Devil is always in the details.....

Anyone know how tenacity compares to a product called "dismiss"? i have some nutsedge to get rid of and i'm trying to decide which to get. thanks!

tenacity is labeled for nutsedge. . Dismiss is the the better choice, however. Usually with tenacity, you have to apply it at least two to three times, at two week intervals. They are both broad spectrum. Tenaciity's claim to fame is its ability to kill grassy weeds, like Nimblewill. They are both labeled for Goose grass. I don't think Dismiss is labeled for Nimblewill. PS: spectricide makes a good 4 way for the home owner. It has 24d, dicamba, quinchlorac, and sulfantrazone (dismiss). spelling. they sell it on amazon and lowes.

How much lawn will this 8oz bottle cover? We have .3 of an acre.

The 8 oz bottle will produce 96 gallons of solution using 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. I forget what the coverage is but it will certainly cover .3 acres using a pump sprayer.I have been using mine on my .5 acre for two years and I have only used about 1/3 of the 8 oz.
