Samsung Galaxy S5 G900FD DUOS 4G LTE 16GB Unlocked GSM Dual-SIM Quad-Core Smartphone - Retail Packaging - Black

Samsung S5 dual sim phone arrived promptly and all brand new packaging. My only complaint is that production was intended for Kazakhstan, and it does not have a USA power plug on the battery charger. I got an adaptor and it charges fine, but I think if it is going to be sold on Amazon, it should have an adaptor or the correct power plug. The phone is amazing with lots off additional features over my previous S4. Dual SIM is awesome and I can choose which SIM to send texts, make calls or use data. Either phone number can ring and call wait etc all works great. I use one SIM for USA and the second is a local SIM for whichever country I am travelling in, which is much cheaper to use than roaming.

Be aware you may not be getting a 100% new device. I bought my S5 G900FD DUOS from a vendor here called SHOPEBEST and it came in what looked to be a sealed box, but upon closer inspection, it turned out that the seal was a larger fake one designed to cover and hide the smaller official seal. Inside, the plastic protective cover had been damaged on a corner and there were signs that the contents had been moved around. That said, I'm still very happy with the smart phone itself. The version I received came from the UAE. I was able to update it from Kitkat to Lollipop 5.0 using Odin 3.09 and using the G900FDXXU1BNL9 (Russia) firmware. G900FDXU1BNL3 (Malaysia) version did not work for me, but it may have been because I was trying to use an earlier version of Odin. If you google the terms, "S5 DUOS Lollipop update" you'll find some sites with instructions on how to manually update the firmware. Knox security counter was tripped too, but I'm uncertain if it was because of the update or if it came to me this way. I had forgotten to check prior to updating so shame on me. Hardware-wise, my S5 Duos runs well and both SIM slots work using US SIM cards. Primary SIM card slot installation is a bit tricky as the slot is *underneath* the microSD slot and there's no spring ejection mechanism to help pry it out. It accepts and recognizes a 128GB microSD just fine btw. Just HSPA+ speeds in the US, but I'll have a good chance to check out the LTE speeds in Europe next month. I have a wireless charging flip cover and it fits very securely. I often use my phone as a GPS, so I have the cover folded around the back against the car cradle. Even so, the wireless charger I have is able to continue charging the phone. I was a little concerned the charging signal wouldn't penetrate, but glad it worked out. I'll update more as I get some additional play time using this smartphone.

I bought this phone mainly to use with two SIM cards in my country but also thought I would be able to use it in the US every time I came to visit. Unfortunately my carrier (Verizon) doesn't support the use of devices not bought from them so I will have to keep bringing my Galaxy S3 when I come. The product arrived in perfect conditions, the menu was in English, with 60% of battery charge and even came with an universal outlet adapter.

If you are looking for a Dual Sim phone but don't want to compromise and have a crappy phone. Then look no further. Bought this phone because i travel a lot and hate to be removing covers all the time and switching sims. Tested this phone in the US with T-Mobile in Boston area and it work great pics HSPDA signal from T-Mobile and was always blazing fast between 5 and 10 Mbps (more than enough to do wathever you need on a cell). haven't been able to verify if LTE would work in US, because it's a UAE phone. So far it doesn't go 4g with t-mobile. The phone itself is blazing fast with a quad core cpu and 2gb of ram it multitasks very well. The battery life is also very impressive for a dual sim high end phone travelled with it for 8 hours and i still had 46% charge when i got to the hotel (i was streaming music for the whole trip).

I bought a brand new phone that never worked right from the start . I was supposed to send it back but forgot . The phone was activated for a total of less than 20 minutes . The company will not assist me with repairs nor will they tell me where to send it to be repaired or replaced . I don't recommend them to anyone for any reason . The phone is a piece of crap and the service sucks as well

The phone is great, but I received it preset to Greek. It was quite hard, and took a lot of time, to figure how to change the language to English while the phone is in Greek. The manufacturer and the seller should warn the customer that the phone is preset to a language that is not the US native language, English.

Purchased for use while travelling and worked really well. Used the dual sim and both worked very well in the 23 countries throughout Africa I traveled. Most of the carriers in West Africa are MTN, Tigo, Africell or Orange and I was able to switch comfortably between all carriers. There were a few places where the local sim card did not fit, but in those cases, the hotel or airport wifi was enough. I like the slim design and that I could comfortably use with one hand. Two things that did not work well for me (although was not a deal breaker) -1. the phone would not shut up and stay asleep.It would just randomly come alive even though I had turned off notification and system sounds-- EVERY time it came alive on its own, the sounds would be back on. 2. I would delete or disable the gazillion useless apps and everytime the phone updated, they'd all be back and ON using up storage space and data. Spent alot of time disabling/force stopping Apps I never use....plus new ones that Samsung auto installed with each update. It's like my personal settings (turn off auto update etc) did not exist. Battery life was excellent, I could go an entire day without recharging. I bought one of the battery charger back cases and replaced the original back which seemed to extend battery life. I loved this phone....loved...because someone stole it in an airport and I'm here trying to find another equally good replacement..

The dual sim set up is perfect for those who work in countries where 2 sims are required because telephone reception is poor on the networks. The S5 is a great handset with a large screen and reasonable battery life. Will work in any country as all the bandwidths are covered on the international version.

This phone is amazing. It is dual sim & very convenient if you are travelling. Just insert any sim card & you are good to go. The Camera quality is unbeatable.

Only reason i gave 4 star is cause of the metal ring around the phone....Samsung should really come up with new design. .....Performance is just geart, i read so many review about poor battery but i found battery to be satisfactory, and finally amazing serive from amazon received in one day 😊

Slim... Light Weight... Awesome camera quality... People worrying about Exynos Processor.... Jus go for it.... doesnt matter if its not snapdragon 801 , it performs pretty well..... So far its been almost 2 year since i purchased this mobile set and i have NO COMPLAINTS at all. The only drawback is the speaker quality. Its too low, except that the product is GOOOOOOD! After upgrading to Lollipop, the battery life went down significantly. so i suggest to stick with Kitkat version of O.S.
