Great product, easy to assemble with one person. Would have liked to see it come on one pallet and not bit by bit on six fedex trucks. Had a few dings and scuffs from shipping but nothing I couldn’t live with. Great for someone that loves working out at home.

I waited a month after building it to get a good feel for the machine and its weaknesses. That said, about the only flaws I have are cosmetic. The set up and build call for two people but I put it up by myself with not problem. It took me about 1.5 hours total. Directions were straight forward and clear. Pulleys are clean and slick, smith machine doesn't bind no matter how I work it. and there is decent storage on the unit itself. One thing I don't like is the foot rest for doing pulls while seated is too close to get a good stretch. I'll build a something to fix that. I'm 5'9" and I need the foot rest to come out another 6 inches. The bench didn't come with bolts to put it together but they sent me some after a quick phone call. Aside from that its a great system and I recommend

I’ve been using the RitFit M1 cage and Smith machine since August, so I’ve had a solid three months of consistent weekly strength training with it. It arrives in three large boxes: one for the Smith machine and two for the power cage. Assembly isn’t difficult piece by piece, and I was able to put it together alone without much trouble. During assembly I ran into an issue at step 3: one of the plate carriage plugs was impacted and broken right out of the box. Because of that, the guide bar couldn’t pass through since the opening was misaligned. After checking all the parts, I also found both J-hook plastic side pieces were cracked. These were factory issues since they were packaged deep inside the components. I reached out to RitFit with photos, and their customer service responded quickly. They sent replacement plugs and J-hook pieces right away, and four days later I was able to continue assembly without any further issues. The fast support definitely made the hiccup easier to overlook. Once assembled, the machine has been excellent. We use the rack for around 90% of our workouts, which has replaced a lot of our dumbbell work: curls, shoulder presses, various rows, triceps, and more. The Smith machine itself feels great to use. The glide is smooth, and loading more weight still feels balanced and controlled. The built-in storage in the back for the barbell and plates is convenient, but you do need to plan for some extra space behind the cage for easy access and fit. That’s something I didn’t account for at first, but it worked out. The cable crossover system is one of my favorite parts. The pulleys adjust quickly up or down and move smoothly during all the typical exercises: crossovers, chest work, rows, triceps, and more. One thing we did notice at the lowest peg is that when doing leg work with ankle attachments, you really need something to step on to unhook your ankles. The rack comes with one foot holder that works perfectly for that, but if two people are doing leg work on both sides at the same time, only one person has access to that step. The landmine attachment is another highlight. It locks the barbell securely into place, unlike my previous machine where the bar just slid in and could pop right out. This one feels much safer and more stable during landmine presses, rows, and rotations. The only drawback we’ve found is for my wife, who is 5'2". For hip thrusts and glute bridges, the Smith machine springs sit in the way since they’re always attached. She can’t get low enough without elevating herself using blocks. Aside from that very specific issue, it’s been a great addition to our home gym. Overall, it’s a powerful, versatile machine with excellent build quality, smooth functionality, thoughtful attachments, and responsive customer service. It has completely upgraded our home workouts.

Husband's review: I absolutely LOVE this machine! I own the PPC02 and its awesome. That said I sure wished I got the one with cables. FFW a year later and I saw this beast on sale around XMas and I pulled the trigger. I researched the Mikolo M4 as well as basically any and all other related cages and this one had way better youtube reviews as well as it's a company that I know and trust. Their customer service is excellent. Any and all issues I've ever had (very few) were handled promptly and in a friendly manner to my absolute satisfaction. Some people complained but my experience has been great. They're busy so you don't get an immediate reply but seriously email response day of or next day is awesome! And they care about their customers. It's very clear. If you're on the fence between this and the competitors I strongly suggest watching some comparison videos. It punches above its' weight on the price front. It's more stable. It's a better machine than the others at this price point and some above it. This thing is easy to build, it took me less time than it did to build my other cage that has far less features. It's well built. It's sturdy. One issue i had with my previous cage was it wobbled when doing certain exercises. Nothing unsafe but it was annoying. It LOOKS amazing! I sometimes just go in the garage and stare at it. Not kidding. the cables are pretty smooth (I didn't get the 2.0 so i don't have aluminum cables but I'm ordering them when they're in stock). Spend the extra hundred and get the aluminum. The vinyl are solid, no complaints. But it's worth it to get the aluminum from what others say. The smith is awesome! Didn't realize I'd like it so much as I feel like smiths are more for beginners but i was wrong. Great for learning new movements, working on form, etc. J hooks and spotter arms are well made. Smith bar works well. Pulleys are pretty smooth (will update when I get aluminum). Pull up bar is dope. The Landmine attachment is great. And the cable sliders work very well. May need to play around with the tightness of the knob but you'll get it fast. Don't go too tight or you'll scratch it up. And the storage hooks with the RitFit face plate bring it full circle. And it is sturdy. I need to stress that. I don't even have it bolted in and I've put a lot of weight on the spotter arms. It stays in place. I also have lever arms that used to rock my old cage even weighted down. On this not a chance. It may rock a tiny bit but it stays firmly footed. Overall its one of the best investments I've ever made. I'm excited to work out. I can do everything with it. It's beaitufil and the customer service is excellent. Also watch our for their Challenges! I just got a $600 gift card for their 21 Day Challenge! How many companies do that for their customers! Their FB page is a beautiful community as well. God Bless ya RitFit! Happy Customer!

The product itself works just fine, but it arrived, fresh out of the package, already damaged. This is super frustrating as I am installing this in a brand new facility, but it already looks worn. I also received different cable attachments from the ones listed and pictured.
