Be wary of the size you think you are buying
I bought this to frame an embroidery which was just under 5x7”, but when I got the mount and placed it over the design the aperture was too small. I placed my ruler on the mount to find it was 4.5 x 6.5”. The frame is lovely and perfect for the anniversary embroidery I have made, but I now have a dilemma about whether to try trimming the mount to give the room round the design without looking rubbish ☹️ or do without the mount altogether. The text on the paper inside the frame states is fits a 5x7 photo, but doesn’t tell you the aperture is actually half an inch smaller. Very misleading 😤
