## Description

5 Variety Pack Hot Pepper seeds ghost pepper Included in the 5 variety pack of hot pepper seeds are:Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) 100 mgMini White Habanero 300 mgOrange Habanero Seeds 300 mgRed Habanero 300 mgYellow Habanero 300 mgGhost pepper seeds are one of the hottest pepper seeds around. Use caution while handling the seeds, plants, and peppers. Gloves and or glasses/goggles are highly recommended. The Scoville units for ghost peppers are 1,040,000. Again, they are extremely hot peppers and seeds. Great gift for those who love to grow peppers and spicy foods. The rest of the set includes 4 different colored habanero plant seeds. Red, orange, yellow, and mini white. The Scoville units for habaneros are 100,000-300,000. Not nearly as hot as ghost pepper, yet still very hot. Hot pepper seeds should be started indoors on a heat mat. Don't skip the heat mat. Peppers love it to be warm, so make sure you buy a seed growing heat mat to keep the soil nice and warm for the pepper seed. A ghost pepper plant will take longer to grow and also to germinate. A good rule of thumb is the hotter the pepper, the longer germination and growing times are. You may need to start your hottest peppers sooner than a sweet pepper to make sure your plants are good and strong before transplanting them into the garden. All of our seeds are heirloom. You can plant your seeds, and harvest seeds from the plants to use in future gardens. This helps provide food security for your family. All our seeds are grown, harvest, and packed in the USA. Our business is a small family-owned company, so we thank you for supporting small! If you have any questions or concerns about your ghost pepper seeds for planting and the habanero seeds for planting, please send us a message.

Review: I had all the different types successfully germinate, each had at least one dud in the germinating tray but I will have awesome habaneros of each type soon! 👍
Review: I bought this pack mainly for the ghost pepper variety and I told myself I wasn’t going to write a review until they sprouted so, here we go, I started these babies 4/10/2025, and they sprouted 6 days later. I used a heat mat from Vivosun on desertcart and kept the temp set at 93. I wrapped aluminum foil around the silicone tray to keep the heat insulated. I also used a sandwich bag to cover the top to prevent moisture from leaving the tray. I wrote my label, and secured it in place where I knew a seed wouldn’t be underneath. I used coconut coir as my substrate and poked 30 holes. I received 29 ghost pepper seeds and all 29 have sprouted. I would recommend using a silicone ice cube tray as a cell tray, for it makes for such an easy transition when it comes time for transplanting. You just push it up from the bottom and the seedlings pop right out. Plus, the ice cube trays are just cheaper and much more reusable in comparison. Just find yourself a deep one.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a guarantee on these? None of my seeds grew/germinated.**
A: I've had luck planting and wrapping in plastic to increase humidity. Placed in window sill for sunlight. 60% germination.

**Q: How many seeds in each pack**
A: All of our hot pepper seeds packets are filled by weight. There are approximately 75 of each seed in the pepper seeds for planting packages. Please remember that hot peppers need warmth in order to germinate and grow. It is highly recommended that all peppers and tomatoes are started on a heat mat with a humidity dome. The hotter the peppers, the longer they take to both germinate and to grow.

**Q: Are these 2022 year crop seeds?**
A: Each listing is updated to new seed each year. We are currently selling 2023 hot pepper seeds for planting.

*************************updated with results See pictures of how well 5 plants did for yellow habaneros! These were large in size and already made 16 ounces of powder! ******************Revised review - 1st set of seeds did not do well - here is the second set seeds review***************** Changed my setup to the Aerogarden with these results: 1) 100% germination ghost peppers 2) 100% germination Red Habaneros 3) 99% germination Orange Habaneros 4) 100% germination Yellow Habaneros 5) 98% germination - White Habaneros However, out of all of these varieties, I will no longer plant the white Habaneros as they produce such small fruits (Think of 1" x 1/4" size). Not sure why I wasted the space for 2025 - probably to get rid of the seeds. The Aserogarden REALLY made a difference - and this was on the 50 tray seed starter kit to boot! **********************************************Old Review*************************************************************** So I looked a the reviews, and people had a hard time with yellow and white habeneros. My setup: Grow lights Warm mats trays CLEAR Solo cups to provide plenty of growth - can even see the roots as the germinate Have grown for over 40 years different veggies. Usually, the orange are the EASIEST to grow of Habaneros and I tend to have struggles with the red. As I have a large garden, I planted all the seeds from all the packets. Here is the odd results: 1) Orange Habanero Seeds - 0 plants 2) Ghost Peppers - 0 plants (the water trick for the remaining six seeds showed these were not viable) 3) Red Habaneros - 60% Germination 4) Yellow Habaneros - 80% germination 5) White Habaneros - 87% Germination Yes - the allegedly HARDEST to grow did fantastic for me. The easiest to grow did nothing. Trying again one last time.
