Review: Dry skin type, broken skin barrier. - I really wanted to love this product but it destroyed my skin barrier. I do have dry skin which this cleanser was suitable for but apparently more sensitive than I thought. I wish I had of looked at the ingredients properly and the placements. Upon looking this cleanser has orange and lemon essential oil, and the vanilla and strawberry aspect of the cleanser is placed 5th and 4th last on the ingredient list. The orange is so overpowering you can hardly smell the strawberry and vanilla. I only wish I hadn’t spent so much money on this product as I’ve barely used it and now it’s just going to be wasted. If you have dry and sometimes eczema prone skin I would highly NOT recommend this product.(Note: I have slightly edited the picture as it was hard to capture the irritation on the right side of my forehead)

I really wanted to love this product but it destroyed my skin barrier. I do have dry skin which this cleanser was suitable for but apparently more sensitive than I thought. I wish I had of looked at the ingredients properly and the placements. Upon looking this cleanser has orange and lemon essential oil, and the vanilla and strawberry aspect of the cleanser is placed 5th and 4th last on the ingredient list. I love this face cleanser - the foaming and moisturizing qualities aren’t too much, and leaves my skin feeling SO hydrated and clean. I noticed a lot of my problem areas are finally balancing out too. I also love that this product is vegan and relatively affordable. I saw an influencer using this in a Facebook reel and since I was almost out of my cleansing balm I decided to order this. I have always been a double-cleanse girl and now I don’t have to do that. At first I was using too much product to cleanse. Then, over time, discovered that if I put just a small dot on wet hands it cleanses my entire face and neck. All makeup removed. It smells wonderful and I am very happy that I ordered it. I now have it on regular subscription. However, since a tube lasts several months I have had to adjust my timing schedule. Really loving it!
