I am very happy with the Hoboroll. I'm currently using it as a gym bag. I like that it has several compartments so my clothes, shoes, accessories, shower supplies and water bottle have their own space in the bag - making it easy to find what I'm looking for. It compresses nicely and seems very durable. My clothes are never wrinkled when I use the hoboroll. Overall, a great gym bag!

I loooooved it. The material it's made from is much more durable than I expected and it's so much more convenient that having several separate stuff sacks. I got mine to bring on the Appalachian Trail, I ended up sending it home to try and cut down weight though.It works wonderfully as an overnight bag for me now.Only problem I had with it was that one of the clasps broke, but I think that was due to my boyfriend yanking it too hard and not manufacturer error. Either way it was easy to replace and the hobo roll still works perfectly.

Just received the Hobo Roll and testing it out. It holds a surprising amount of gear. But I ran into a problem when using the compression straps at it seems one of the buckles was put on backwards and it will not hold tension. I will contact the maker to see if they can provide a solution.

Looked cool at first, could fit a lot of stuff in it. However I received it with a couple of the straps frayed and as soon as you try to tighten the compression straps the buckles pull open. Defeats the whole purpose of the product if you can't even tighten the straps all the way.

I just received my Hoboroll V2.0 and am slightly disappointed, but to be fair partially my fault.I thought that the roll was like a stuff sack with 5 dividers in a star pattern sewn into the sides & bottom. The problem is that there is no "bottom", it is open on BOTH ends. Now after receiving the roll & reading the description closely I do see that it says "draw string closures on both ends", thus partially my fault. The photos for the product do not depict this clearly and as a designer myself think that this is an important fact to make perfectly clear. I can see having both ends open on a larger bag, but a bag this small only needs one side to open. I have included a photo showing that it is a "pass-through" design and this is a photo that should be included in the items description. Otherwise it appears well made and of very light material (a plus in my ultralight travel manor). Just be sure that the other open end is ok with you...

I am well known for being a pack rat on trips, which happen often since my grandpa lives fairly close. I got this thinking it would be a great help-especially on longer trips when i need more clothes than i can fit in my suitcase. I was a bit worried that the size of my clothes (3-4X) would have limited it but i literally fit ten whole outfits excluding bras in this thing for a two week trip. And about a months worth or underwear. And still had room. I also love the pockets inside the pouch (i hadnt seen anywhere, but when i opened it it is its own pouch which you turn unside out to get it out and can then still use as a pocket in it, and it has a pocket in one if tfe sections.) I love this thing!

I am fortunate to travel a great deal with my wife and two teenagers. We bought traditional compression stuff sacks many years ago and have used 3 or 4 sacks each in our backpacks (that is about 10 sacks out when we unpack). Socks. Underwear. Shirts. Running Clothes. The segsac allows us to use 1 sack for our socks, underwear, shirts and running clothes ... 1 sack each! (only 4 sacks out when we are unpacked!) Amazing design. Quality build. A must have for anyone who travels, likes to stay organized and not live in a room full of stuff sacks. We ordered the Ultra Light 20L, Ultra Light 15L and Hoboroll V2 ... tried them all and love them.

Great bag and was exactly what I was looking for. I'm actually on a trip right now and have it stuffed full of clothing nightly tightened down. I like the fact that I don't have to guess as to where my clean underwear, socks shirts, workout clothes are at any point along the way. Like that I can open on either end although I always have one end secured in a knot along with the tie-down clasp. Light weight parachute material is extremely durable. Hardware is simple and easy to use. Not sure if it actually saves a lot space in my duffle bag or not. For sure doesn't add space. I like the "all in one place" convenience that provides maximum organization in my bag or suitcase.
