I normally buy slim fast powder due to budget and ease of access to product but I’ve also been researching a more organic, healthier, less sugar alternative that would not take me broke and I settled on Nutiva. I purchased chocolate and I really like the taste. I can really taste the cinnamon which I like and is a good mix with chocolate. Best of all there’s no disgusting weird sweetener taste. That is a big turnoff for me. I rather have regular sugar than sweetener taste. The most disgusting taste off all is the alcohol sugar. This product only has 1 gram of sugar which I find very acceptable. I mix Nutiva with almond milk, half of banana and couple of frozen strawberries and it’s fantastic. Two thumbs up from me.

This protein powder is plant-based, which was a must for the various allergies in our household. It is easy to mix into multiple recipes. It tastes delicious and has no artificial sweeteners!Highly recommend! The vanilla flavor is just as yummy.

I have been using the Vanilla Plant protein for quite a while and it is awesome!! After reading reviews I decided to try the chocolate. The reviews of a dark chocolate taste lured me in. However, after mixing, I notice there is a strong cinnamon taste, actually over powering the chocolate. I do like cinnamon, but I felt it was too much and took away from the chocolate flavor. Disappointing! So I will stay with the vanilla and add my chocolate! Overall Great Product!

I switched to this from nutivas hemp protein. What an upgrade. Actually tastes good, i only need to mix it with water and its good to go. Saves money and calories by not having to use plant based milk to choke it down like i did with the hemp. It also has more protein than the hemp. I was eager for them to come out with this bc i know its quality organic plant ingredients as opposed to some of the other plant protein brands that are popular. The only downside is the price of course, but you definitely get what you pay for

Awful changes to this formula! I’ve been using this powder for years because of the clean ingredients and great taste. It now tastes like a wet sock (both chocolate and vanilla) due to I believe the addition of malodextrin. It also causes digestive issues. I’m so disappointed and definitely will not be ordering again. it was great before but now it’s radically different.

I ordered this product as it was a little cheaper then another product I usually use. Unfortunately, there are some things I didn't catch beforehand, like Fiber...not enough for me...but that's not the manufacturer's fault, I didn't catch that part in the description. Also, I really don't care for the taste whatsoever. They put a lot of cinnamon in it (I bought chocolate flavor), which I don't really care for. You're expecting a chocolate forward flavor and all I can taste is the cinnamon. So it just makes the drink taste horrible for me...again, not the manufacturer's fault - just a preference. I'm sure the ingredients, etc., are good quality; however, I will not be buying again...

I was looking for a meal replacement drink for a quick breakfast or lunch. I didn’t want whey or stevia in it as both can give me GI issues. The only way I’ve used it so far is with about 12 oz of water in a shaker bottle. It mixes easily, isn’t gritty or clumpy, and tastes pretty good for what it is. I used it on Thanksgiving along with a banana before a 5 mile turkey trot, and it kept me satisfied and I had enough energy for the 5 mile run. I haven’t had any GI problems with this product and it keeps me satisfied until the next meal.

I really wanted to love this protein powder, but in the end I don't think I will be re-purchasing.First the things I like: sourced from ingredients low in heavy metals, great nutrient profile (added vitamins and minerals like B12, biotin, etc. that I don't necessarily get a lot of in my vegan diet without supplementation), price was not too bad per ounce for a vegan protein powder, plus no added sugars.Things I did not like: the taste was mediocre at best, I couldn't taste the chocolate much at all and even the cinnamon I saw other reviewers complain about was kind of lacking for me. It also mixes TERRIBLY. I use blender bottles, and all the shaking in the world could not disguise the extremely gritty and tasteless pulp I was drinking. Also, if I set it down for five minutes, all the sediment would sink to the bottom. For all the benefits listed above, I could have put up with a not-so-great taste, but the inability of this powder to mix well with others will probably keep me searching for another.
