A good friend of mine contracted a fungal infection that went misdiagnosed for nearly a year, resulting in a series of strokes that left him mentally compromised and relegated to a nursing home. It was his dream to find and rebuild a 1959 Alfa Romeo Spider, similar to the one his father owned when he was growing up. Sadly, he was struck down before ever reaching that goal. I purchased this book to give him on one of my too few visits, and it had a miraculous effect upon him. He read every page, scanning each picture, telling me a little about each vehicle. It was a truly glorious experience for him and for me, perhaps one of the last before we lost him.This book is fantastic.

We recently purchased a new Alfa Romeo Giulia and immediately after the first drive I had a passion to learn more about Alfa Romeo's history. This book satisfied that urge plus some. While it does not cover the most modern cars Alfa Romeo produces it is history rich and covers a fair amount of Alfa Romeo technology.

My step son acquired his fathers 1960 Alfa Romeo Giuletta Spider and is doing a complete restoration. He loved this book to accompany Certificate of Authenticity listing VIN # from the factory.

What a beautifully written and illustrated book. My husband absolutely loved it.
