You can smell and taste the difference in this fine extra virgin olive oil. I just received this a couple of days ago, and the same night I made a large batch of crostini (with baked fresh baguette slices) for several different bruschetta spreads I had laid out. I generously brushed the slices with olive oil before baking, and they turned out perfectly crispy and delicious. I shared them with my 4 housemates, and they all loved them. However, I actually bought this brand of olive oil to use daily for its health benefits. I drank my first teaspoon today, but will probably graduate to about 1-2 tablespoons. I never thought I'd "drink" olive oil, but it wasn't bad at all, and after reading a lot on the subject, I thought I needed to give it a try. This is a premium olive oil from Morocco that's cold-pressed and rich in polyphenols. Polyphenols offer significant health benefits by reducing chronic inflammation, improving blood pressure and cholesterol, enhancing insulin sensitivity, and protecting against cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative diseases, and certain cancers. However, not all olive oils are equal. In fact, I read that there are a lot of fraudulent olive oils out there that are mislabeled as extra-virgin even when they're not. A 2010 study conducted by the University of California–Davis Olive Center tested supermarket samples of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and concluded that more than 69% of olive oil labeled “extra virgin” did not meet the legal standard. Who wants fake (heat-treated or refined) olive oil when you can have the real deal? Now, other polyphenol-rich olive oils, including the one promoted by Dr. Gundy, can be VERY EXPENSIVE. Gundry MD Olive Oil is also produced with Moroccan olives and is rich in polyphenols; however, it's 3 times more expensive than this brand. Atlas Olive Oil, I believe, is comparable in quality, and the price is polished. If you want a superior quality olive oil at an affordable price, this is the one!

I have been using this olive oil for several years now and it’s been the finest oil I’ve ever used, and the healthiest! It’s incredible for cooking any dish and its flavor adds to the food I prepare! I would highly recommend and endorse this wonderful Moroccan olive oil!

The smoothest tasting olive oil I've ever had, no bitter taste whatsoever. Also the healthiest. Pricy? Maybe but put into perspective, use a cheaper oil to cook with and save this for the real health benefits--drizzle over salads, soups, sour dough bread, popcorn (you won't miss the butter) and many more foods. Have a teaspoon for the abundant polyphenols & antioxidants. An excellent introduction to top-shelf olive oils.

I have been using EVOO in my dressings and cooking for years. I was raised by a "health nut" and even worked in a weight loss clinic. I recently did a lot of reading regarding polyphenols and the health benefits of EVOO. I love a peppery taste and need some antioxidant relief. This was my first online food order ever. I read the reviews and the stats before choosing Atlas. A few said theirs arrived rancid. I have to be completely honest. I THINK mine is as it is supposed to be. It is unlike any other I have tasted. It truly has a peppery finish! I LOVE pepper, but it is a bit of a scratchy slight burning sensation in the back of my throat. It is golden in color. I like the flavor in dressings and do not taste it when frying. I'm confused by these statistics: Cultivars Old bicentenary orchard Picholine du Languedoc (French variety, 80%), Picholine Marocaine (Moroccan variety, 10%), Menara (Moroccan variety, 2%), Haouzia (Moroccan variety, 2%), Chemlali (Tunisian, 2%), Dahbia (Moroccan variety, 4%) / modern orchard Arbequina (Spanish variety, 84%) and Arbossana (Spanish variety, 16%). Does this mean there are multiple varieties of olives in this mix? Does this also mean it's made with olives from a bunch of different groves? It is pricier than the ones at my local grocery store. I am going to try Graza which I just saw in the big W store and I will compare. I think that comes in two different types. I nearly forgot to mention, this oil comes out slowly, although it doesn't seem super viscous. It has a plastic insert that stops it from pouring too fast. It's in a dark glass bottle which can keep a fine (or cheap) wine from turning to vinegar or an oil from turning rancid. It was delivered in enough bubble wrap to have been able to drop it off my deck and it would have been unbroken. Very safe and secure!

The best! Olive oil that taste like olive oil with a sweet tinge, not like a mouthful of oil. I have never had such awesome olive oil in my life! Americans just don’t know what good olive oil is till they get it from Morocco and in a glass bottle. Gives you everything you need (just like Dr. Gundry sells, same place bit more costly for less)! Did my own investigations, order this it came the next day and wow, you can eat it by the spoonfuls and it has a great taste and doesn’t taste like nor keep the oily feeling in your mouth! Best I’ve ever had!!!!! I will be ordering again. We just have to see how fast we go through it so we can go to auto ship. I never wanna have any other olive oil in my house after tasting this! We had no idea how different it would be and how much better it would be, oh my!!! Thank You❣️

YES! THIS IS ACTUALLY THE REAL DEAL! I was so tired of getting scammed. I have searched… tried and tested too many FAKE olive oils to count. It should be illegal to sell the garbage they pass off as authentic but, this is one is OMG-AWESOME! It passed my at home test (just refrigerate & it congealed, YAY) it tastes divine and has all those awards. Wow. I LOVE it! Thank you!

This is a great product. Tastes superior, and much better for your health than the plethora of low quality olive out there. A bit pricey, but will buy again for sure.
