I have never had really good olive oil. I've read of the "peppery" taste, and thought I had tasted it, but no.. the first taste of this is smooth and buttery. But after swallowing, wow, be careful. Both my husband and I coughed quite a bit. I do not mind even though I wanted to take it "medicinally"-- that is OUT. Instead, I used with a tomato based veggie medley and the sharp taste was gone. Extremely pleased with the product. It feel like my first authentic olive oil, with a green taste that is not overwhelming, and a very fresh taste. Totally new. Totally interesting.

Superb Organic EVOO. Very slight peppery hint makes it ideal for a variety of uses. Perfect for salad dressings, drizzling over a favorite pasta dish, pizza or dipping a good Italian bread. Also works well for low temp sautéing. Highly recommend.

I really like this. It tastes pretty good the size was a perfect size. No leaking and I like the pore on it. no bad taste or aftertaste it's pretty good. Definitely buying another one.

I love this olive oil for taste and high polyphenols. It comes packaged perfectly. My only complaint is the oil I received was 8 months past the bottled date. Olive oil is healthiest and tastes best the newer it is. It is recommended by other sources to use olive oil before one year (even though use by date on the bottle is 2 years) so that gives me 4 months to use. I wish the oil was newer but shipping is too costly to order direct from Atlas.

First Cold Press, dark green glass bottle, beautifully wrapped to avoid breaks - I find everything I need to order this olive oil. Above all it has high level polyphenols and a delicious taste. This is an oil to use every day for your health and tasty food. I like the way it distributes slowly in a drizzle also. So I can manage my quantities if it’s for cooking or for my salads. Very happy with this brand.

This oil is so amazing! It does not taste like olive oil! I do not like olive oil but I love this product because it has a Nutty type of flavor. It's extremely thick. So you don't need to use much. I am a healthy eater. I had a whole week cracker and I put some of this on it instead of cheese it was delicious. It has a lot of Versatility to put on after noodles have been cooked or rice or crackers. I would not put it in the boiling water for the noodles to not stick because it's too expensive for that. But definitely afterwards then you can eat it uncooked.

This is a great product. Tastes superior, and much better for your health than the plethora of low quality olive out there. A bit pricey, but will buy again for sure.

Ich bin von diesem Olivenöl wirklich positiv überrascht. Es ist sehr mild, weich und angenehm im Geschmack. Wer bei nativem Olivenöl extra oft diesen bitteren oder scharfen Nachgeschmack nicht mag, könnte mit diesem Öl sehr zufrieden sein. Geschmacklich unterscheidet es sich für mich deutlich von vielen anderen Olivenölen, die ich bisher probiert habe. Es wirkt sehr sanft, fast neutral, aber trotzdem hochwertig. Gerade für Salate, kalte Speisen oder auch pur mit etwas Zitrone finde ich es sehr passend, weil es den Geschmack der Speisen nicht zu stark überdeckt. Man merkt, dass es kein einfaches Standard-Olivenöl ist. Für mich gehört es geschmacklich zu den besseren Olivenölen, die ich bisher hatte. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass es nicht unangenehm bitter ist und sich sehr angenehm verwenden lässt. Der einzige klare Kritikpunkt ist der Preis. Das Öl ist wirklich teuer, vor allem wenn man es mit günstigeren Alternativen vergleicht. Es gibt definitiv Olivenöle, die zwei- bis dreimal günstiger sind. Deshalb würde ich sagen: Wer sehr stark auf den Preis achten muss, findet sicher günstigere Optionen. Wer aber ein besonders mildes, hochwertiges und angenehm schmeckendes Olivenöl sucht, bekommt hier ein sehr gutes Produkt. Meine Bewertung bezieht sich vor allem auf die Qualität des Öls selbst. Würde ich nur den Preis bewerten, wäre ich kritischer. Da mich Geschmack, Milde und Qualität aber klar überzeugt haben, gebe ich trotzdem 5 von 5 Sternen. Fazit: Ein sehr hochwertiges, mildes und angenehmes Olivenöl, besonders für Salate und kalte Speisen. Preislich nicht für jeden Alltag geeignet, aber qualitativ aus meiner Sicht absolut überzeugend.
