I have much more expensive devices but this is compact and easily moved from one scope to the other. Battery lasts a long time. The most important thing to me was you can dim the screen enough that it doesnt bother my eyes or give me a headache on long sits. Able to focus clearly with it . Eye relief was perfect on it. Going to be using it for Coyote hunting in the near future. The IR so far is a big help as well. . I took a picture with my phone looking through lens at 100 yds . Haven’t tryed or set up the recorder yet. The battery that came with it was a 3200 mAh 3.7 V Lithium .
