Jackson's : Stackable Round Ceramic Palette : 3in (7.5cm) Diameter : Set of 6

Five small round ceramic dishes that sit firmly with no wobble. The interior of each dish is peaked slightly in the middle so the water will drift down to the edges. The lid is the same material and sits on top of the stacked dishes. Although the top of the lid is slightly rounded I have turned the lid upside down and used as a 6th dish (in this interior water will pool towards the middle). I use for watercolour - super easy to clean and wipe down with no beading. I prefer to work off ceramic palettes of different sizes and shapes but one or 2 of these is always on my desk as great for creating large washes. Super useful for those painting at home.

I cant tell you how many palattes I've brought in my lifetime as an artist. I must have spent ma fortune on plastic palettes. I use mixed media; acrylic, water colour and gouache and any of them stain plastic indelibly after a time. These are impossible to stain. Acrylics dont stick to them either. Yes, they can be dropped and broken. But it doesnt make colour mixing more difficult than it needs to be. Try mixing the colours of an evening cloud with a plastic palette stained a messy purple or green. Everything is only a tool to the artist. Eventually, you are going to need these.

These are beautiful set of ceramic palette. I love them. Easy to take in the art box. And works well with water color

These palette dishes are stackable and they won't touch the paint on the level below when stacked. The lid piece doesn't lock into the pieces below, so just make sure that the whole tower is kept on a level surface. This style of palette works best for me so that I can reuse them until I'm done with my painting. I also really like having the lid piece so that I can have my palettes covered up to prevent dust.Overall really satisfied with these!

The 5 stacking set of ceramic palettes arrived broken and left me annoyed. As I have no printer, I could not get hold of a returns form. I was left with just two palettes!!!! Not a happy bunnie!! Not only were the palettes broken, they were smashed into tiny shards that took me ages to get out of the carpet
