Economical
needed a replacement lift cylinder for a John Deere model 430 4ft snow blower. The cylinder worked well after I modified the snow blower frame to allow clearance for the bottom hydraulic hose. Saved me $150 over the OE part cost.

Overall good unit, but had a big issue
Bought this to replace the lift cylinder on a John Deere 54" blade. Everything looked great until I went to thread in the 1/8" NPT fittings. Both ports in the cylinder were not tapped deep enough and the fittings would only go in 1/2 of a turn. I lucked out and had the proper tap on hand and knew a technique for cutting threads without dropping the metal shavings into the cylinder, so I was able to salvage this unit and didn't have to return it. Others may not be this lucky. Mfg should definitely work on their QA.
