tarte timeless smoothing primer

I don’t usually write reviews, but I was honestly impressed by this primer. I had been looking at other options that were way more expensive, but after seeing the great reviews here I decided to give this one a try. You can really see the difference—one side of my face looks noticeably smoother compared to the other when I tested it out. It blurs pores beautifully, feels lightweight, and doesn’t make my makeup look heavy. I’m excited to add this into my daily routine. Definitely worth it, especially considering the price compared to other brands!

Until now, I have not had much luck with getting a natural finish with my foundation, but this primer is sheer perfection! It works wonders with my beauty balm serum skin tint... Flawless finish

This primer works well even though it is old and had already recessed and shrunk in the jar. It does take a little time to get it applied smoothly. But once on and then I apply foundation, I have a wonderfully matte finish that makes my 60 year old face look years younger! My next purchase of this primer will be from a retailer. I would give it 5 stars if it was not old product...even at that, I highly recommend this face primer!

It is a good product, thick and not the best primer for makeup. Smoothed wrinkles if I put on an hour before. If you want a primer to go under makeup that doesn’t cake, tarte face tape primer has a smoother feel.

Love it please dont add a lot though cause when u go in heat it will slide off with ur setting spray lol

I never used primer and I thought I'd give it a try. I was shocked. My face was smoother, evened out wrinkles and my face was brighter. The product is in a paste like form. All you need to do is take alittle bit out and rub it between your fingers or hand. It will then smooth out perfectly on your face.

I have used the Tarte Clean Slate Timeless smoothing primer for the past couple of years. I have very LARGE PORES on my nose and it was the only product that I found that actually worked for me. I only used this on my nose and it basically filled in all the "holes" and made my nose look smooth. I recently went to purchase this again and saw that the "clean Slate" had been taken out of the product name. I was assured by Ulta and Sephora that even though "clean slate" was removed from the name, it is the same product. I ordered on Amazon and this is not the same as the old "Clean Slate". In the pictures you can see the old packaging (the solid gold lid) and the new packaging (gold lid with clear round window). I hate this new stuff. The Clean Slate was basically a thick paste, which I used as a Spackle. It was thick and stayed put. The new product is very soft, spongy and almost foamy. I inserted a picture of it with the lid off, it's bouncy to the touch. Melts the instant it hits your skin. If you are looking for an all over light primer, this may be perfect for you. As for me and my giant pores, this product did not work at all and is nothing like the old stuff.
