The cabinet is very sturdy and easy to put together. The door hinges were a challenge to adjust and the instructions could have had more guidance. The packaging had protection in strategic places to protect the components and extra reinforced tape on the ends of the box to survive the rough shipping conditions.

This is a quality cabinet. Utility cabinets in this category aren't usually the most glamorous pieces of furniture, but this (along with its larger counterpart, the Prepac Elite Collection 32-Inch Storage Cabinet ) is the best quality one I've ever bought. I've had ones from Home Depot and other outlets, including some similar things from Ikea, but this cabinet is made better than any of them. The parts were well-packaged and there was no damage to any of them, but one of the doors arrived with glue all over it. The same thing happened with the larger cabinet, except this time the glue came right off with some rubbing. Assembly took about 30 minutes with a power drill and I did it alone. The instructions are simple to follow and assembly was easy. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver, and a hammer to nail the back on. You'll also need a drill bit to complete the holes for the handles. The cabinet is pretty sturdy, but I wish the pegs that connect this unit to the bottom one were a little larger. The middle shelf is adjustable. The doors have 6-way adjustable hinges, which helped me eliminated the gap that originally appeared between the two doors. They will also help you make sure there is a tight seal between the doors and cabinet and so the doors are on straight. I like the metal door handles, which look much nicer than the plastic handles that come with most other utility cabinets. The doors have rounded edges, giving it a less utility-like feel to them. I placed this unit on top of the Prepac Elite Collection 32-Inch Storage Cabinet . I'm glad I found this combination, and at a better price than lesser-quality ones at Home Depot.

This cabinet was easy to put together. It was not missing any parts. It was a good size for the price that I paid. It has a nice clean look and is very sturdy. I am thinking of buying another for the other side.

Well engineered with all the holes lining up and no hardware issues. Took me about 1/2 hour a unit and I got 4 of them. I am put them on top of the taller unit in this style. I feel I should address some other pointed out issues. 1. It is a box, with only 9 pieces in the shipping box. 2 side panels with lots of holes, a top and a bottom with holes only on the edge, two doors, a back and a shelf with no holes and two back supports. Line up all the brown edges, keep the holes on the inside and there you go, no instructions needed. The pictures provided in the box show all of this. 2. The back in not cardboard, it in HDF. Look it up. Since it has no weight on it, so what? It looks nice. 3. If the bolts are tight and the back in nailed on it is very rigid. 4. I was itchy when I was done putting 4 together, I took a shower. 5. Packaging was very good and no damage was on the finish. 6. The hinges are six way adjustable, if the door doesn't line up go on Youtube and see how to use these. Mine are perfect. 7. The shelf is MDF, look it up, I put wood 1x1 wood strips screwed under the shelf to keep it in tension in the front and back, no sagging. 8. I mounted these to the wall with screws and a large washer to studs in the wall. They are not coming out. If I were going to use them free-standing on the wall I would put a 1x1 cleat on the bottom back for support. You will hardly see it. 9. There was a new thing smell when I put them up but that is gone after a day. It is in a 12x7 room closed up. My new truck smelled longer than these did. I do not have any super ninja building skills and these worked out great. Take your time and look at the pictures on the paper. The finish looks good and I think they are well made.

Sturdy easy to assemble but cheaply made

I purchased this for extra clothes storage in our bedroom. It matches the Drifted Gray headboard and dresser we had purchased previously. Assembly was easy and the quality appears to be good. The only thing I didn't like is that the company only has holes pre-started (not drilled through) for placing the handles at either the top or bottom. I wanted them in the middle but an option for placing them there was not provided by the company. As such, I carefully laid out and made my own holes to place the handles where I wanted them to be. Not a big issue and other than that it is a very nice cabinet and I would not hesitate recommending it.

10/10 do not recommend. I put together a lot of furniture and right out of the box I questioned the quality. I don’t know what they use to make the holes but they were all jagged and the facing was chipped near the holes. It wasn’t difficult to assemble for someone with experience. I was nervous to hang it on my wall and I followed the advice of another review that said to hang the shell then install the shelves and doors once on the wall. BIG MISTAKE. Try the doors first and make sure they’re going to look good before putting holes in your wall…The doors were so uneven, and the gap was almost an inch! I know how to adjust hinges and these could not be adjusted enough to close the gap. I was very careful to installed the correct set of hinges on the middle door per the instructions but it didn’t matter. And as I was giving up on making them straight and closing the gap I discovered the middle door got a hairline fracture where the hinge is. I contacted amazon and sending this junk back. And now I have to patch holes in my wall and repaint it. I was so optimistic and confident this was going to be a great solution for my laundry room and this was my worst furniture assembling experience. I have to disassemble the whole thing and repackage it. Luckily Amazon is going to pick it up from my house. I was so frustrated I didn’t get pictures..sorry. Just trust me, don’t take a chance on this.

This was easy to assemble and very sturdy. Looks great in my small laundry room. Would recommend to others.

The cupboards are very sturdy and very spacious. I’m OCD about clutter so all the clutter will disappear from the laundry room. I bought 2 cupboards and well worth the price which I thought was excellent. If you buy them you should be a handy DIY person and to hang them on a wall will need 2 strong people. That’s my 80 year old wife and myself. That sounds funny but you really will need 2 strong bodies.

These seem like good quality wall cabinets.. just disappointed that I have to either figure out how to repaint them or put them up looking like this?! Like this is what they look like after I wiped them off with a cloth??? I don’t know if this is normal or what.. so with that being said not sure if it’s worth the 100$+. I haven’t reached out to the company personally but any compensation would be appreciated.. I would return them if it wasn’t such a hassle.

Altogether I purchased 3 wall cabinets over a period of a month. Bought for my garage because the size and color were perfect. They are easy to assemble however be aware there is no back on these cabinets, the wall you hang them on in essence becomes the back inside of the cabinet. Of greater concern is the quality control. Two of my cabinets had the following issues: 1- Doors had scratches; 2- Foam packing had stuck to some parts damaging the finish; 3- Pre-drilled holes for handles didn't line up from door to door, so on each right hand door, the handle was 4 mm lower than the left side. Two replacement cabinets were sent to me and by choosing the best parts out of the four cabinets I was able to make two decent ones, and I returned the other two. The pre-drilled handle holes again didn't line up so only points 1 and 2 were actually resolved. Satisfied with Amazon's handling of this but the manufacturer needs to improve their QC.
