Q: why do you have Sodium Bicrbonate as one of the ingredients? My dentist says that is like using sandpaper on your teeth.

Thank you for the question. Sodium bicarbonate is baking soda. The relative Dentin abrasivity is extremely low. Most toothpastes RDA is anywhere from 35 to 250. Sodium bicarbonate is approximately seven, therefore extremely low in it’s abrasive characteristics. Please keep in mind that we have 11.5% hydroxyapatite with 6% nano hydroxyapatite in our toothpaste to help mineralize at the same time. That is to say our toothpaste is really meant to rebuild not tear down making it extremely Biomimetic.

We are working on other flavors, but we actually have a new load of inventory in (it can change because of the natural wintergreen we use and no two plants are exactly the same!). Contact us and we will take care you get some of the new inventory!

Q: Hi, whats the rda on this product? sounds amazing with the hydroxyapatite, but i’ve heard bad things about glycerin & abrasiveness of hydrated silica!

The form of silica we use is one of the lowest RDA's and we are 99% glycerin free (a trace) unlike traditional toothpastes which are often loaded with glycerin and is a main ingredient. We are having the RDA testing done, but we know it will be very low due to all the natural ingredients and the low abrasive silica form. But more importantly the hydroxyapatite will be aid the body in its natural mineralization every time you use the toothpaste. And unlike most other hydroxyapatite toothpastes, we have a full 11% (6% nano form), which is a clinical level (per the Doc).
