Is this game for you? If you're a Star Trek/Fluxx fan, YES!
1) I'M A STAR TREK AND A FLUXX FAN--->you need thisTLDR; Just save yourself time and get all 3: Star Trek Fluxx, Star Trek The Next Generation Fluxx, and the Bridge Expansion pack.WHAT'S THE SAME?If you're a gamer, you are probably familiar with at least one incarnation of Fluxx. The Fluxx this is closest to in card composition and game mechanics is Star Fluxx, the non-copyright-infringement parody of beloved sci-fi icons. But now Looney Labs has pulled off the seemingly impossible, they've gotten the rights to publish Star Trek Fluxx, and has released separate decks for TOS and TNG. They have Creepers, Keepers with special powers, and a few nifty new Trek-specific Actions and New Rules. No significant surprises in the game mechanics here, just good ole Fluxx fun but now with added Star Trek!WHAT'S UNIQUE?Although Fluxx decks all have the same card backs and some fans can and do combine different decks, Andrew Looney and Looney Labs have never previously supported this practice because it alters gameplay making the game much longer and harder to win. While Fluxx is usually a delightfully quick intermezzo for me, fans are aware that sometimes a game can drag on. So I was trepidatious and not a little skeptical about the fact that there is a Bridge Pack expansion designed to allow you to shuffle the Star Trek and Star Trek TNG Fluxx decks together. My hypothesis before attempting this feat was that I would not enjoy the combined decks and that the game would drag on interminably. But wonder of wonders, it actually works! Not only does it NOT significantly increase the average length of game, but also I find it is even MORE ENJOYABLE to combine the decks than to play them separately!?! I think this is because the Bridge Expansion facilitates nerdy juxtapositions between the two starship crews in a way that I find highly entertaining. Andy Looney is a genius, there is no other explanation :-)2) I'M A STAR TREK FAN BUT NOT A GAMER-->you might need thisYou will likely still enjoy the original artwork and may discover a fun, usually quick card game that changes it's own rules as you play. I'd suggest getting only one of the two Fluxxes, either Star Trek or Star Trek TNG, whichever is your favorite of those two shows. (You can always go back for more later!)3) I'M A FLUXX FAN BUT NOT A STAR TREK FAN-->this is not for youIt's okay, I don't judge ;) This is probably not the game for you. Perhaps you should try to find a copy of Star Wars Fluxx in Russian.4) I'M NOT A FLUXX FAN OR A STAR TREK FAN-->Heavens to Mergatroyd, why are you even stopping in to read this? Move along, find something you love to play and enjoy, and we'll do the same, thereby all helping to make the world a kinder, hippie, tie-dye, peaceful place...live long and prosper!***Same review posted for all 3 Star Trek Fluxxes

It’s a great game no matter what version you play.
My friends and I have been playing the original flux for a very long time. When they came out with different versions we were very excited about the Star Trek original and Deep space nine versions. Game play: each player gets 3 cards to start. Cards can be keepers, creepers, rules, actions and goals. The game ends when a player has the keepers on the table for a goal they have in their hand that they put down or when someone puts a goal down that they or another player has the keepers needed to win. What is great about flux is that the goals and rules change. There are a lot of different goals and rules. As the players pick cards they could put down different goals or rules, over the course of the game there could be many different rules and goals that are specific for which ever version of flux you have.I absolutely recommend this game.

Love this game!
I've played different kinds of Fluxx, the Star Trek one is my favorite (as a Trekkie). The play is a similar experience to UNO, where it is constantly changing, it can be pretty vicious (in a fun way). You don't need to be a Trekkie to have fun with this game, I've played games based on Star Trek where you really need to know the source material. You don't need that with Fluxx, which is great, it means I don't need to only play it with a small group of people. I can play it anyone--and I have played it with people who barely know what Star Trek is and they loved it. I'm also a big fan of card games like this because they are portable and easy to set up.I definitely would recommend this game!

Another fun fluxx game
Standard fluxx play with many familiar cards to other sets, but with some that are very star trek only. Includes all the major cast, common tools (phasers, etc.) and the creepers are all alien races. This set also includes an ungoal which I have not seen before which is based around the doomsday machine and all players can end up losing. The goals also make sense, like uhura and a communicator, spock and nurse chapel in forbidden love, etc. Images are all drawn well. There is a bridge set to allow play with the stng set as well. Haven't tried it yet but gave bought both stng and the bridge set.Update: added a photo of the bridge set. Game play with it seems limited.

This Game Is Awesome!
We already had Star Fluxx but after loving all of the cool allusions to classic science fiction I had to see if there was a Star Trek one! Luckily there was and Star Trek Fluxx does not disappoint. It is still fun for people who aren't trekkies but has a level of fun and inside humour for those of us who do love Star Trek. It's TOS so you get the familiar original crew and their crazy stories artfully presented on the cards. The rules and game play is slightly different than Star Fluxx because you can have multiple goals and can even work in contrary to the goal. I absolutely love this game and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Fun family game
Its a fun game that’s easy to play once you get the hang of it (2-3 practice games) and it changes with each card drawn from the deck.

Fun, good for travel, great for Trekkies!
I learned how to play Fluxx with a zombie version and it was REALLY fun! My boyfriend is a huge Trekkie so I got this for him for Christmas and he really enjoyed the game as well as all the Star Trek references. Since we usually play games with just the 2 of us it's great to have games that can be played with just two players as well as more players. It's also convenient how small and easy this small deck of cards is to travel with so you can take it on vacation or to friends houses or the like!

Such a fun game!
Love that you can play it with only 2 people or with a whole group. It's so much fun, there are some really cool cards in here. It's easy to play and never gets boring!
