This is amazing way to keep your pond functioning without a huge electric bill. It does work best on sunny days since it is solar and on cloudy days sometimes it doesn’t. But I love having something simple to set up and cost efficient. I purchased this in May then I decided to purchase the waterfall solar pump also. Because I have a large pond with a small pond and stream in the middle. The waterfall pump has been awesome. I was surprised it could pull the water from my big pond up the slope to the small one. I did have an issue with this pump. It stopped working after about a month but the company sent me a new one and I installed it this morning and it’s working. For me this is truly an easier way to run a pond.

*DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT* I bought this water pump from POPOSOAP last Aug 2025, set it up and used it for 2 months in my new pond until Oct. I live in the NE US so I removed it from the pond and stored it safely inside for the winter. In late May 2026 I put it outside in the pond again and it worked for a few weeks. Suddenly in mid June it just stopped working. I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly making sure there were no clogs (there weren’t). I then put it back together, checked all electrical connections twice, put it back in the pond and it still doesn’t work. I got less than 3 months use of this product before it died. Awful!

Worked great for about 3 weeks, then just quit. Thought it was the pump, but it ended up being the solar panel. The manufacturer did end up sending another one eventually. Took awhile so that’s why I gave it four stars. Hopefully the replacement last longer

Had it 3 months didn't use it but I would say 1.5 minths and it already went out 2nd item I bought from the company that went out got a 8w areator that went out in a little over a month of using. I really felt like the solar pump was gonna be great it was doing good then just stopped didnt do anything new with the pump or panels I just put it in the pond and let it do its thing when sunny. I have not contacted customer support to see if I can get a new one or not will update after that. Customer service was friendly and very fast response getting both new sent to me no extra charge cause they have 1yr warranty on their products hoping these work better and last a lot longer

Waste of money! This trash has no real world use. Does not clean in any reasonable way! Just gets clogged , then fully disassembled every other day with absolutely NO change in water quality! Just a visual gimmick, nothing more nothing less.

It seems to work. However the unit will not stay on the bottom of the trough. It floats around.

We purchased this item and had a problem with the pump, we reached out to the customer service at POPOSOAP. The support staff noted the issue we were having and quickly resolved our problem. We received a new pump and everything is working well.

Began using it May 1, stopped working by June 8!
