Organix Sulfate Free Hydrate & Color Reviving + Lavender Luminescent Platinum Shampoo 13 Oz and Conditioner 13 Oz 'Set'

My daughter touted me on to the OGX line of hair care. Being free of so many harmful ingredients is really important to me. However the biggest selling point was that it didn't have sulfates. I'm in the process of turning my hair pure, chrome silver and shampooing with any sulfates strips the silver from your hair. Have used these products twice and am happy.UPDATE: 5 mo later. Have been using and am basically pleased with these. However, note to other silver blondes out there - the color comes out easily no matter what you do. You do need a good purple shampoo to be used whenever you see the silver or white fade. Amazon sells a large number of them many of which are great. As far as OGX goes, I'm going to add the Coconut Oil mist and the Fade Defying Orchid Oil. I really love this line and their commitment to good ingredients and cruelty free.

My dermatologists told me to buy sulfate/sulfite free products to use on my hair to help with itchy scalp and to possibly help with hair loss. I am an older woman with thinning fly-away hair. I do not color my hair so I can’t speak to it’s helpfulness there. M I have tried several brands and this is the best of the lot for me so far. It is better with the scalp dryness after 8 or 10 shampoos. The conditioner is not as good as others I have used for getting rid of fly-away hair, but seems to work well with the shampoo on the dry scalp. It’s better than no conditioner. And the scent is absolutely wonderful. Reduces my stress just using it.Prompt delivery. Packaging was ok and even though the cap popped off the conditioner in shipping, it was bagged in plastic and so thick only a tiny bit was lost.

I've been on a long search for nitrate-free shampoo that works well and is NOT heavily scented but has a good, if faint, aroma. This fits the bill. The lavender scent that is there is natural, rather mild and dissipates when/as it should. For anybody with allergies to chemically produced scents (there are thousands of such scents, it seems, all of which seem excellent at inducing headaches!) this shampoo will very likely work for you. The conditioner is equally good.

I'm on a lavender kick, and I'm trying to get all my scents the same so I can have a consistent scent. Ideally, I would love to have a signature scent. Because many beauty products come in lavender, but not as many shampoos and conditioners come in lavender as I thought. The smell is very good, but I'm not sure how long it lasts, but my hair feels great and I'm pretty happy with it and would buy it again.

I like the results of the product, but the shampoo is too hard to get out of the bottle. It has a thick consistency and one has to squeeze really hard to get some out. Because of this, I only got a small amount out, smeared it on my head, then had to repeat this 4 times to get enough out for my long hair.Shape of the bottle makes it slippery, dropped it once. really need a third handBUT otherwise I like the product, left my hair nicer than what I was using before.

I have been using a variety of OGX shampoos and conditioners for a number of years now. I decided to try the Lavender combo because I have read that this type of shampoo is good for silver hair.I just began using it but like it very much so far!Also, the shampoo/conditioner came SUPER fast!

This shampoo and conditioner is a five star, I love this product, however , Amazon does not always pack products appropriately. One shampoo, one conditioner and one large bottle of vitamins in one flimsy paper mailing envelope equals two lids broken and leaking fluid in bag...so I guess u wouldn’t mind me returning both bottles opened?
