There are four notches to be able to easily open this gauze even in cold conditions, or with gloves on. It’s very compact and makes it easy to pack away. The hemostatic agent does a great job of quickly clotting up blood from significant wounds. The fact that it’s already impregnated in the gauze, allows you to wrap the wound and not have to keep putting fresh gauze on top.
