Wrangler Riggs Workwear Men's Logger Twill Long Sleeve Work Shirt

In my yard, I have acres of cacti and tumbleweeds and other plant and animal life that want to stab me with spines, bite me, or otherwise do damage. These shirts really do the trick and keep me from coming home with cuts and scrapes. The sizing is a little big, but I don’t think it’s too bad. It’s a good solid heavyweight fabric and perfect for heavy labor like logging where protection is a little more important. The fabric and stitching are well made and seem to be pretty strong.

I was looking to buy another Carhartt shirt for working in the woods. I do a lot of clearing of brush and blackberry thickets, and I need a tough shirt that doesn't snag on the blackberry thorns, won't tear at the seams when it's strained, can handle getting soaked regularly from rain and sweat, stays clean and is long enough to cover my middle. I can no longer find the tough Carhartt shirts I used to buy, so I looked around and found this Riggs shirt from Wrangler. I ordered one to give it a try, an XL in Forest Green. I've been very happy with it so far. I've worn it while chain sawing through blackberries (we're talking really heavy thickets here), and no damage yet. The heavy and smooth 7 oz fabric has protected me from getting scratched and stuck by thorns. It fit me well in an XL (6ft, 205 lbs). I need the XL for the length, and often the XL shirts are too baggy. This shirt fit pretty slim for an XL, which worked for me. I thought the collar was a little tight for a workshirt. I like that the chest pockets button closed, and don't have flaps to catch on anything. The cuffs also fit fairly tight, which I like, as loose fabric around the wrists can catch in moving parts on equipment. The style is a little bland, but as a work shirt, it's just fine. The price is good at $27.99 compared to Carhartt. I'll definitely be buying more and using this as my standard work and camping shirt.

You get what you pay for. I bought one at a local farm store two years ago and when I went back they were no longer carrying them. So, Amazon to the rescue. They are well made of heavy fabric, sturdy, and clean up easily. They pick up pet hair but he cloth is fine woven enough to release it in the wash and they come out clean. So far they are super durable, clean up easily, roomy and have well designed pockets big enough to hold something useful, with no useless seam for a pen, they hide the pen pocket inside the main pocket, where you can ignore it and it doesn't limit what you can get in the pocket.

Nice shirt. Sleeves are too long. Otherwise ok. The size estimator is way off. Indicated I should order 4X long. I ordered a 2X instead. It was way too big. Sending it back and ordered an XL which is nice except for the sleeve length. 6’ tall - 252 lbs.

This are ok work shirts little tight for me, but they do last and hold up.

The weight and feel of the fabric is right. Hefty and well sewn. An old school vibe that appears to mean business.

Great shirt, durable and comfortable. The more you wear them the more comfortable they are. I have purchased a khaki, green and three Demin, all good, denim is my favorite.

Bought several of these and absolutely LOVE these shirts! Rugged and very durable while looking great. Accurate sizing, comfortable and does not hinder movement. Great for work or casual wear and the price was right. I highly recommend these shirts.
