Yes I'm looking at you "Manybaggers". I wanted a good commute bag that was between my Osprey Daylite Sling, and my Osprey Transporter Roll Top. The Osprey Daylite was exactly what I needed. The Seaweed Green is beautiful, and the bag is the perfect size for daily carry, while also being versatile enough to allow for an overnight trip. It has the typical Osprey features that are more fitted for backpacking but translate surprisingly well to commuter bags, namely the chest and hip straps, the back ventilation, and compression straps. All features I miss on conventional bags, especially the back ventilation! So the key things that make this perfect for day to day is the laptop sleeve and water bottle pockets. Those are my two requirements for day to day. It fits my 13.6" MacBook Air just fine, and my Nalgene Water Bottles are a perfect fit. So no issues on those parts. It passes the test for my needs. Past that the quality of the bag itself is as expected. It's water resistant but I would buy the Osprey Commuter Waterproof Cover if you're expecting to carry it in rain. It's an extra cost but you can use it on all of your bags regardless. Without one it's good enough for accidental spills but not full on soaking.
