For some reason I’m a ziploc snob & these are my favorite! I have them on subscription & I use them weekly. This is the perfect size for something that is bigger than a sandwich or quart size bag and smaller than a gallon size bag.

These bags seal well and squeezing air out as you seal works well too. Just the right size for smaller portions. I sometimes I also use it to freeze banana bread it fits perfectly and sealing is a breeze.

it's tuff to find 1/2 gallon bags and so glad I can get them on Amazon.

If I could only ever have one size ziploc bag it would be the half-gallon. So versatile.

I've always liked and trusted ZIPLOC. I've tried more inexpensive half gallon freezer storage baggies but I always come back to a lot of the name brands like ZIPLOC because with ZIPLOC half gallon freezer food storage baggies, the off brands or less expensive brands just don't compare too great next to these. With these ZIPLOC baggies they stand up better and seal a whole lot better (with these I know there's no spills sneaking out of the baggies while in my freezer/fridge. They keep my food way fresher with great oder resistance. I know I can trust my food from not getting freezer burnt while freezing food (meats especially) and I appreciate how easy they are to use. So if you're looking for superb quality I recommend ZIPLOC every time no matter what size and type of food storage baggies you're needing because ZIPLOC has never let me down. But if you need a more budget friendly food storage baggies I recommend Amazon's brand;to me they come closer to a better quality type baggies for food storage than most other off brands or less expensive brands.
