We have an older small tv in our kitchen that is from 2014. I just use it to watch while doing dishes & preparing food/coffee. The few minutes after I put in the batteries, the tv was up & working immediately‼️ So very glad I was able to find a replacement remote for our older Samsung tv-Tks‼️

No programming just put in batteries and it worked
