Easy to Set-Up and Use
It's been very easy to setup and use each morning. The app is very useful and not overly complicated, which is helpful when I'm tired 😂. I use it for my morning baseline as additional data in my overall health improvement program. So far, it seems very accurate (I have not verified it next to a different machine) and reliable. I like that it's wireless when you need it to be. Overall and excellent addition to my health monitoring systems. ***UPDATE*** No change in my rating, BUT I have tested it next to a medical grade BP device at the doctor's office. I'm happy to report that the reading were very similar. The reason I brought it was because it seemed like my readings were pretty low, but it matched the docs so then I became concerned. The nurse did a manual reading and it was a normal reading. They say the digital systems can run a little low. That's not a problem however, because knowing that is enough for me. Tested with arm parallel (with heart) and resting with all devices. I still believe this was a great purchase and would recommend it.

Best monitor. Accurate and good useful App
This is the nicest blood pressure monitor I’ve owned. The semi-rigid d-ring cuff fits comfortably and stays in shape. No bunching of material around the metal d-ring, no issues with the cuff not staying flat around your arm. The machine is quiet and fast. No annoying beeps. An AC adapter, 4 Duracell AA batteries and a fitted, zippered bag is included. I would suggest using the AC adapter whenever possible. It ensures that the unit receives the full power it was designed for. My measurements are lower when using batteries that are not new. So, yes you get a low battery warning, but from my experience the measurement might already be low compared to using the AC adapter. The unit allows 2 user readings to be automatically stored in the machine’s memory and synched via Bluetooth to the Omron App. It works well and usually synchs automatically. If not, you just tap the synch icon on the app and it’ll synch the readings. The App shows daily, weekly and monthly readings and works well. Apparently you can also synch to the Apple Health app but I have not tried. During initial setup, the unit’s Bluetooth paired immediately and has stayed paired. There is a Guest measurement mode initiated by pressing both user 1 and 2 buttons simultaneously. G (guest) appears and these readings are temporarily and will not go into the machine memory or synch with the app. It’s a nice feature when you want to take a measurement that you might not want to keep or let a guest take a measurement without it affecting your averages. You have to use the Omron App to manually delete individual measurements. It’s a little hidden in the App, but individual measurements can be found and edited on the App menu: You select ‘History’, ‘Blood Pressure’, scroll to bottom and select ‘See all measurements’. You cannot delete single measurements on the unit. However, you can erase all records for each individual user from the machine. The machine by default takes single measurements. If you want to take three successive measurements and get an average (TruRead), you select the user, 1 or 2 and hold the start/stop button for a couple seconds until 3 appears. You can set the time between measurements from 15sec, 30sec, and 1min in the machine setup. The display is very clear and large. It’s great to see the current measurement and for comparison, you see the last measurement on the left. You can also scroll through all the past measurements with the left and right arrows. The Omron Platinum and Omron 10 are almost identical. The Platinum is sold by Amazon. It has a 6yr warranty, an all white unit, D-Ring cuff, morning measurement averages with high readings indicated, and include a zippered case. The Omron 10 is sold at more retailers. It comes with a 5yr warranty, with their ComFit cuff, the unit has a black front, and no zippered case. I would get the Omron Platinum unless the price difference was significant. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this product.

Excellent and reliable BP monitor
Best BP Monitor. Excellent product, easy to use, good large display. A must buy if you need to monitor hypertension and have reliable readings. Did a lot of research before buying, and cardiologist recommend: "stick to upper arm monitors with arm cuff for household use. Other kind of monitors unreliable, for the moment" Pros: - 2 users + guests - 200 readings memory per user - Possible AFib detection - 3 readings average feature ( TruRead Mode) - Weekly average reading - 2 power sources:4 AA batteries (included) or AC adapter (100 - 240V) - Bluetooth connection to transfer readings to Omron App Cons: - No WiFi connection capability - Some options selection: activate Bluetooth, TruRead Mode not very intuitive. - Omron connect app doesn't work on many Android phones or tablets. - Regional restrictions outside USA & Canada (Thats a big nonsense from Omron) Buy and enjoy tranquility

A big surprise with OMRON Platinum BPM
I have used Omron BPMs for over 7 years and find them first class. HOWEVER, I recently bought their Platinum model with Afib detection. Once the unit I have detects Afib (which I have BTW) it won't display BP reading. It gives a message to see your doc about Afib. I have not been able to find a workaround for this. What good is a BPM if it won't give you results. The unit cycles through the three-measurement cycle per normal. It synchs to the APP, NP! It just won't give me any BP readings. Frustrating, to say the least. Has anyone else run into this? Is the solution staring me in the face and I just can't see it?

Blood pressure
I purchased this product based on a recommendation, and overall, I'm satisfied with its performance. While it occasionally gives readings that seem slightly off, it is accurate and consistent most of the time. It's a reliable product for everyday use.

Reliable, easy to use, and great for tracking my health!
I’ve been using the OMRON Platinum monitor for a while now, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home health routine. The setup was straightforward, and I feel confident in the readings because of the brand's reputation and clinical validation. What I appreciate most: The display is clear and easy to read: It shows all the necessary information, including pulse and history, at a glance. App connectivity: It’s incredibly convenient to have my readings synced to the app, making it much easier to share my progress with my doctor during checkups. Peace of mind: The AFib detection feature provides an extra layer of health monitoring that gives me peace of mind. If you are looking for a high-quality, dependable blood pressure monitor for home use, I highly recommend this one. It’s worth the investment for the accuracy and ease of use.

Easy to use and accurate
This blood pressure cuff is exceptionally easy to use and rather accurate. Initial set up is easy as simply attaching to the base and press and start after the batteries have been installed of course. Also quick note; if you want to use the advanced triple measurement feature initially just press and hold the start/stop button for ~3 seconds until the display shows the number 3, it’ll then begin reading with the default wait period between reads of 30s. I also took this product to my doctors office to test it against theirs and got quite nearly identical readings. The actual blood pressure reading is rather rapid as well taking just a few seconds to get your blood pressure. You can also link this into the app through Bluetooth and track the blood pressure on your phone, which can even then auto link into Apple health. So far the battery life and reliability both seem rather Accident so I have not been able to fully assess the reliability, but my readings have been coming back within my expected range for me. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking to track the blood pressure more closely and wants to be able to be completely confident in the accuracy of their measurements. There are other products on the market that are more app, integrated or integrated apps that will give you recommendations and so on this one is the most wild recognized clinically has been an accurate monitor.

Constant Error Readings
There is a lot that I like about this monitor. It is lightweight, has a carrying case to keep everything together, and the display is nice and big and bright. But it has a few quirks that can get a little aggravating. Almost every time it is used, the first reading or two or four are just errors. You can have everything set up correctly and absolutely not move, and it doesn't matter. I give up until later when it errors more than once, simply because I feel like it will affect my reading after getting mad about it. Another quirk is that it will decide that it doesn't want to send data to the app. The Bluetooth connection will need to be reset. I've had to reset it twice in the last two days. It turns into a pain because the app tries to sync, and the app won't let you interrupt the sync to stop and reset. You can't stop the attempt, can't unpair it while it thinks it's syncing, etc. The third quirk is that it will sometimes overinflate. So watch the numbers if it's getting really tight. This has only happened once to me, but it kept inflating and went past 190mmHg and I had to quickly shut it off. That definitely left a bruise! When it does read, it seems to be accurate so far. As long as you can get past the error readings without losing it. It's been convenient for me to track my BP as needed, but it's a pain sometimes both literally and figuratively.

Convenient and dependable
Highly rated on many medical websites . Comes with a convenient carrying case . For something as important as blood pressure you want to be able to rely on your readings . This machine is more expensive then some but after researching, found it to be in the “top ten” reliable blood pressure monitors on multiple sites . I am happy with my purchase

Slick Machine!
Wow. "Buy Right, Pay Once." To be fair, it's the first time I've used one of these, but it strikes me as a brilliant machine supported by a flawless app. Everything about it feels like reliable top quality - exactly what I want in a home-use medical instrument. Bothers me a tiny bit the Bluetooth stays on at all times even when machine is "off" - notwithstanding new "low energy bluetooth" technology is a very low parasitic draw, I would still feel much better about the batteries if it would just give up after a few minutes for example. You *can* manually turn the Bluetooth off, but it's a bit of a pain to turn back on every time you want to take a reading (especially if daily), so not worth the effort and I now just leave the Bluetooth on, as it is by default. Overall - spectacular machine, just one very (very) minor tech-nerd type annoyance. Highly recommended for up to 2 users who would like to track their BP and HR at home.

Good - but could be much better
I like it but it has a few quirks: 1) you cannot transfer a reading from one user to another. It would seem that it would make sense and be a reasonable safeguard, UNLESS the “other” user has inadvertently put their readings in your profile for several days… 2) you cannot delete individual readings, only ALL the readings in a profile in the machine itself. You can delete individual readings in the app, but that is not the same. 3) it is inconsistent in transferring data from the unit to the iPhone app via Bluetooth even if they are only inches apart. Sometimes it does it within seconds, sometimes it won’t do it even if the sync is triggered manually in the app multiple times. 4) the cuff is good and easy to close one-handed 5) the hose could be about 3-4” longer ( long arms) 6) I like that it operates on both battery and charger 7) they removed 3-measurement feature bc they say the measurement they take is just as accurate. I have to disagree. My BP varies over 5-10 minutes even if I am completely still and now I have to manually take several readings to get a reasonable average. With 3-reading setting it was automatic and much more convenient. 8) they can improve the app. I only use BP monitor, not their other gadgets and I don’t want to have to choose BP monitor every time I want to see my readings 9) the app should show HR and BP on the same screen as an option so we can see how they both track. 9) Solid unit, good display but should be backlit. Date and time should be separate, not cycled display 10) the unit would be vastly improved if it had a full LED display rather than a fixed cheap LCD screen. Then it could display graphs and much more output on the unit itself. Even cheap devices today have LED displays to show a wide range of data in a limited space. This is a premium device at a premium price and the display could be much better and far more useful.

If you have AFIB Don’t Buy
I am extremely disappointed in this no machine. BEWARE if you have AFIB this machine will not give you your BP readings all it will show is AF and there’s nothing you can do to fix it. OMRON built it that way but they don’t tell you that in their product description. Go a machine this expensive it useless to me I will be returning it
