A Message to Garcia: The Original 1899 Edition

This is such a short story, but it's something I know I'll return to. Life lesson in initiative, and dependability. I believe they've removed it from the Commandant's reading list, but they shouldn't have if they really did.

Everyone in the world needs to read this book. It gives a great example on how to be a RESPONSIBLE person who carries out his or her responsibilities and takes their JOB seriously doing the best job possible for any task.

If you know, you know. Order this. It’s a great read.

Great book, with an even better message, was introduced to this during my Plebe (Freshman) summer at the Naval Academy, and use it regularly to teach lessons to my sailors.

Loved this book and it's message

Terrible. Don’t waste your money or time on a 10 page book. Has nothing to do with the war just an author’s justification of following orders. Waste of 6$
