I haven't seen any reviews of this size generator so here it is : The Genmax GM15000ET
I probably did not need this much power other than to start my large air compressor or to use while welding with a Miller 252 welder but this unit had some features I was looking for. I did a lot or research to come up with this unit. An inverter generator is a nice item to have to power smaller loads but to power large inrush items you need a good surge generator as to why I went this route. I notices the Harbor Freight model on sale, a 13000w on sale for a little over a grand and in review the sign wave became trashy after 7500w so that was off the burner. Started looking over many units to find even champion was made in china. Yes most all portable gens are made over seas or put together here with china parts. This gen came with remote key fob /electric start / pull start / and 2-wire start control. A very use full way with solar inverters or other equipment. This tri-fuel unit give many options. Came with all the hoses/charged sealed batter/wheel kit/ grab handles/ tools /oil/ charger and more than you would expect. Amazon was quick to get it to me. The frame is larger than most being 1 1/4 inch thick. The rails above the tank are welded on instead of bolted like some of the other models. I could not find a scratch on mine. Ever thing about it well built and thought out. Even the wire harness going to the control panel was taped or rubber covered to keep water out and protect the wires. I like the style of the read out being easy to see with the lighting as well as the night time led lighting above the display of controls. I added the oil, hooked on my grill propane tank and it started right up on the first try, impressed.. I hope this unit lasts a long time. For thous interested in knowing, when you down load the manual, the web site has a statement. Starting this year, any one who buys a Genmax will now receiver a 3 year warranty. This started Jan. 01, 2026 for any one buying on this date and after. Glad I waited till this year to buy one. Here is some pictures of my unit. Looking at some of the pics, you can see they provided a cover for the unit, who does that? the handles have rubber inserts to grab and keep the handles from scratching the frame as well in aid for good grip when moving. Has a nice muffler and when it was running I was amassed it really was not as loud as I thought it would be being a large 520cc engine. I'm hoping for the best but just to say it looks like a nice unit to have. this one has the 50 amp RV plug which I need for the welder, so I'm all set with that. I will be able to use the 2 wire start to hook to my solar inverter or to add another way to start automatically from another location.

TheCO sensor makes this generator useless.
I bought this generator to provide backup power for my off-grid solar system. I understand the concept behind carbon monoxide sensors for safety but to put one on a generator and not be able to turn it off is ridiculous. An automatic start generator that is kept in a generator shed should have a way to turn off the sensor. I've been trying for three days to get this thing to run more than 10 minutes. I spent a full day with genmax customer service trying to find a way to bypass the CO sensor and still nothing. They sent me a picture of a wire harness with a black wire and a white wire that are supposed to be cut and connected together. There aren't any white wires in the wire harness. This thing is basically useless. If there's anyone out there that knows how to bypass the CO sensor on theGenmax GM15000ET I would sure appreciate it. I did eventually figure out how to bypass the CO sensor. If you connect the two solid black wires together it will work.

No Start / No Run Issue
Wire not plugged in causing unit to crank but not start. Basically had to disable and diagnose the issue on my own or haul it an hour away to repair location. Received nothing back for my time, inconvenience or expense to repair the faulty equipment.

Be careful buying generators from Amazon. Sent me defective one and no replacement or return
Piece of garbage. Sent totally useless generator. Spent $200 to invite electrician to figure out that neutral and ground not bonded at 50 amp socket. Now Amazon doesnโt want to return it or replace it. Total scam.

Works Well for Jobsite Use
I mainly run this generator on gasoline when I need maximum power. It has no problem starting heavy equipment like air compressors and large power tools. Startup is quick, and the output feels strong and stable. This is a great option if you need full power for jobsite or emergency use.
