Davidson'sOrganics, Ayurvedic Infusions, Detox, 100-count Unwrapped Tea Bags

I haven’t been a fan of everything I’ve purchased from Davidson’s, but this blend is excellent. I mix it with some Flor de Jamaica hibiscus flowers & brew it in my French press. I make the first batch super strong & put it in a carafe in the fridge to dilute with water for a refreshing calorie free herbal water. Then I brew the same herbs with a second round of hot water & add some Rooibos or mint or even Yerba mate depending on my mood to make a nice hot tea. Anyway, I like this so much I’ve put it on Subscribe & Save. Lots of flavorful herbal tea helps me drink more water & stick to my intermittent fasting regimen.

I cannot say enough about the sweet, subtle flavors of this tea! Noting overpowers anything. It's a prefect blend: mellow, sweet, smooth, floral...just GOOD! I will be buying this again and again!

I was really surprised how good this Ayurvedic Detox blend of tea is.I’m an herb tea drinker to begin with, I have very little caffeine, sometimes imperial white or gunpowder green and to my taste buds, this tea is delicious! Maybe if I was a hard core coffee drinker, I wouldn’t be so over the moon about it’s flavor.It’s naturally sweetened with licorice root, so I don’t add any sweetener.I also love that it balanced all three doshas: ginger and dandelion for vata , tulsi and peppermint for pitta,echinacea, lemongrass and dandelion (again) for kapha.These herbs are powerful but gentle enough that my body will detox over time.

I did enjoy the flavor of this tea. I was mixing it with the ginger spice tea because it does have a strong licorice flavor. I was drinking 2 or 3 big cups a day. I did this for at least a month and was noticing worsening headaches, almost a migraine feeling. It wasn’t until I started to develop fluid retention in my legs that I put two and two together. High levels of licorice are toxic! I was shocked when I looked at the research on licorice! so if you consume this tea, do so in careful moderation.

Great tea. I started drinking this tea to support a juice fast, and under those conditions the tea actually activated ketosis in me, without the horrible diet “flu” that happens to many in the first days. What a perfect support for a fast, too. Read the description and you’ll see what it targets.I like this tea enough that I drink it semi-daily when I’m not fasting. I love the flavor, I don’t understand the other reviewer’s comments about this. This tea has a savory, non sweet taste. I enjoy it without sweetener or milk.

Ok so, I tried it and personally I loved it. Then I offered some to my dad and he added like a teaspoon of raw honey and the flavor completely changed but in a sweeter way. So if you need to add a bit of sweetener definitely recommend raw honey 😉 Love both ways honestly 😆.

Liked the product but had an ingredient that caused a mild allergic reaction.
