I use a lot of timer light switches in my home. If the switch is a 3-way switch, you need to make sure another switch doesn't get used because it will mess up the timer. Covers I have used in the past are bulky and ugly. This is great. You won't even notice it is installed. Installation took two minutes. I love that you can still use the switch with the cover on if you need to. My only complaint is the price considering what it is. But since I have reordered I guess I must think it is worth it!

What set this apart for me was the "no hinge" approach with, instead, small cutouts provided to turn the protected switch on and off when needed. Pretty unobtrusive being transparent.

The media could not be loaded. Well...this thing works awesome. I don’t know who would install the switch for a garbage disposal in front of the sink at hip/bum level so every time you bump against the counter it turns on, but someone actually did it! I don’t like the price, I mean come on, $10 for a plastic shield which probably costs less than $1 to make via a 3D printer or somewhere in Asia. BUT it’s ok! Because I’ve convinced myself that I’m not paying for materials, I am actually paying for the ingenuity behind this thing! As you can see in my vid, it absolutely works!!!!! Prevents bum bumps, pelvic thrusts and many other unintended or even intended actions from turning on the garbage disposal. I absolutely recommend this thing.

Used this to prevent accidental or habitual use of a switch that has smart lights on them that are controlled by their own smart switch. This allows me to still cycle the "dumb" switch off then on by inserting a finger into the holes of the guard if my smart lights become unresponsive to their smart switch and turn them on full brightness default white, but I cannot accidentally turn off that switch and it guides guests who may not at first know which switch to use to the smart switch. I only deducted a star because the extended screws supplied had the paint really badly chipped off, so I had to use a Dremel and cone shaped grinding bit to countersink the holes to fit some standard long switch plate screws I bought from a hardware store. Otherwise, this product looks nice and in fact is almost invisible at some angles, and does the job I need it to.

Needed this guard fir a Decora light switch that powers a motion sensing light - the switch should never be touched. They’re more expensive than the other light switch covers but they do look good. It comes in 2 clear plastic pieces plus 2 long screws to connect to the light switch - the 2 pc plastic cover is a bit thick, hence the long screws. Looks nice and fits perfectly.

I now have 4 of these. I started with one on my garbage disposal switch because my cat could turn it on by rubbing against it. I really like the sleek design and the ease of human access. I added 3 more of them on switches that control outside lights that are dusk to dawn so we don't turn them off accidentally.

With my Google Home system, whenever I can I'll use a smart wall switch rather than using a smart bulb or smart plug, but when a switch is dual pole you can't use a smart switch. So for this situation I used smart bulbs and then just put these switch guards over both switches so it wouldn't be so easily turned off at either switch location so that Google Home can easily control the circuit. They're not what I would call incredibly attractive, but they also aren't obvious or glaringly ugly or anything. Basically, they work well for my application. The most difficult part of the "installation" was peeling off the protective film on both sides. The rest was easy -- just two screws.

Works exactly as intended, and came with screws. Fairly thick and seems sturdy enough to not crack like some others out there. The small holes on the corners are large enough to be able to conveniently turn switch on or off without tools if needed while making sure no one accidentally uses it. I’m using this for switches that control outdoor lights on motion sensors I don’t want turned off accidentally, and it’s ideal for that. The plastic is glass like clear, and was shipped with a protective covering to pull off to keep it from getting scratched.

Nice simple cover, comes with two longer screws, fits on top of your existing cover.Took me maybe two minutes to install.I bought it to cover the switch that controls the patio light. That light is photosensitive and turns on/off automatically depending on the outside lighting, so I wanted to limit the access to the switch.The cover has two square access points in case you need to switch the light manually.Very happy with this product.

This was easy to install just had to unscrew the screws from my hold plate (but keep the plate in place) then put this over. I recently switched most of my lights to smart home enabled so don't want people cutting power on them but do want the ability to turn them off manually if the need arises (like cause the hub goes out).

Came quick, easy to install but little pricey for plastic and two screws

Exactly as pictured and described. It comes well packaged to protect the product from being scratched during transport and it’s super easy to install. They look clean when all set up; doesn’t take away from the aesthetics for your space at all.
